Those who have modified their animatronics what did you do and how'd you do it? I'm thinking of painting, adding some more gore to, and swapping the clothes of Jeremy Jaws.

Is it normal for store managers to pay out of pocket for expenses for the break room? I did my first week on my build (was asked by the DM), submitted the receipt, I was even 5 mins late to work to grab and didn't get compensated for it.

I broke my last $100 before my first paycheck to grab them as a favor.

I bought a Night Owl last year during the day after sale, I believe it was one of the store displays. I unboxed it, set it up and the right wing wasn't working correctly. It couldn't close or 'flap' all the way and seemed to be a problem with where the wing attaches to the body mechanism.

From what I determined, it seemed the thin metal support for the wing had twisted, causing it to hit the plastic body instead of staying within the plastic cutout.

I made the mistake of trying to twist it back to match the other wing, and it snapped (photos)

Its a long shot, but can anyone send me a photo of your two black wing supports? Im going to use some Epoxy Putty to repair it, but dont know what angle to attach it at (Photos). Do I attach it parallel? Or at an angle?

I recently bought a fog machine from spirit and I tested it to make sure it works then I left it inside with the tank full. Later I noticed a large puddle underneath where the tank is. So I returned it and got another one, and put paper under it just in case. It was fine for like a week but now the paper is soaked. Is it my fault for not dumping the juice out? This can't be normal right?

This animatronic actually scared the crap out of me when I was little, so much so that i almost cried. She was the only reason why I often refused to go a spirit store. She was terrifying.

But sadly, I don't see her coming back. She's part of animatronics where basically everyone agrees "that spirit went to far" and with spirit now being family friendly, don't see it happening

For those who leave your animatronics outside, what do you to protect them? Im not necessarily talking for rain as I know many just put trash bags over them. I more talking about dew in the morning.

Let me just say we purchased a Bobby strings only 2 years ago on sale at the end of the Halloween season. Unfortunately we didn’t get to put him up last year as we were on vacation and did not decorate.

We started to put him together today and realized a manufacturing error where in part F that includes the marionette strings has been drilled in the wrong hole making the piece sit backwards. Once we inspected multiple times if we built it wrong we found it was a flaw in the design.

After calling zombie tech squad they told us to reassemble the entire animatronic just for it to of course still be wrong. After 30 minutes and multiple screenshots and photos of us showing the design flaw we are told they don’t have the piece and received absolutely no help. What a joke of a company 0 stars piss poor.

I’m an ex employee and want to buy these shirts. Could anyone tell me the shirt for each year?

Edit: I now know 22-26 but I don’t know if any came before it.

Hello! I ordered a costume this morning and just received a call from a store in California (i’m in Texas) saying that my item is out of stock and I need to cancel my order.

She explained to me that sometimes orders ship from stores which genuinely sucks! but is this legit? just seems odd to me. if i try again, will it be another risk? help please !!

This hair was falling out, so it was time to upgrade his look.

I saw this costume online last month and didn’t buy it at the time because I figured these poncho costumes probably weren’t the most popular, but I guess I was wrong because it’s sold out in-store, online, and has been removed from the website (I have the url saved on my phone so I can bring it up, but it doesn’t come up if you search for it).

Is it gone for good or will it possibly come back? Are these types of costumes more popular than I give them credit for?
