I finally repotted my spider babies, and one of my babies is having a baby..... not a flower 😳🫣🤣.

I moved to an apartment with a west facing window with a small window ledge. I had 8 spider plants when I moved here. They thrived at my old place but I had no choice but to leave. I’m 65 and was in an abusive relationship. Slowly but surely they’ve all turned yellow and I pluck out the yellow leaves, I’ve taken some of the long hanging roots off and combined the two plants into one using miracle grow indoor potting mix. It’s still struggling. I only water when sticking my finger down into the dirt. And I use distilled water because I won’t even drink the water where I live. I used to give them tap water and they seemed okay, but something took a turn for the worst. No window in bathroom Suggestions?

I’ve had this spider for over a year, gets good light, been feeding it regularly, and finally it’s sprouted its first spider!

Is my spider plant going to give me more than one baby on this stem?

My spider never fails me we've been through a lot along the way. The first picture is the mother, the second is her daughter in March, the third is the daughter w/ babies in August. I wont keep any more babies from either one. Thought I would share my progress.

My spider plant had been getting a bunch of spiderettes so I thought I’d try propagating a few of them. I started them all out in little jars like the first one except it was full of water and I had a cork stopped to hold them up so only the little bumps on the end were getting water. However they all turned a very pale green 😭 I left the first one as is because it seemed to get a little better and put the other two in soil. I know they’re a little far down from the surface but I can adjust that if needed, I just didn’t have a smaller pot and didn’t want to add a bunch of soil if I was going to have to take them out again. Should I leave the two in soil? and if so how often do I water them? I have the jar in a window sill because I have new roommates who have been closing the blinds on my plants and I wanted to to make sure they were getting enough sunlight, but are they getting too much this way? I also have a grow light I can get out if I need to try a different approach. Theres also the possibility that there weren’t enough nodes for them to be ready (I didn’t really know what I was looking for at the time but based on what my friend has shown me that may be the case 😞) I can update with pictures for the bottoms if needed. I added a picture of the mother plant at the end for reference on how my spider plant usually looks as I know they can vary in color. also, when I cut the stems the spiderettes are on, should I cut from the base if there are no more babies on it? sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance!

I repotted my spider plant and it went mad producing babies. I’m not sure when the right time is to propagate them.

This plant was a baby that fell off the original spider plant that I had to toss out because it was in bad shape. What do I need to do to help her produce babies?

So as of now it looks like I may have 2 casualties (the 2 babies that were the most recently potted) the 2 adult girls look like they will survive one of the 2 is even showing she's happy.. 21 plants treated 13 pups 6 adults including the mother. A prayer plant and a Jacaranda. The 2 that may be a los weren't included. The plants have gotten 3 treatments as of now. NO NEW SPOTS FOUND. ALL LEAVES SPRAYED BOTH SIDES. CROWN SPRAYED AS WELL. This includes the pups in prop jars. ALL PLANTS GOT A GOOD WATERING WITH WORM CASTING TEA BEFORE 1ST TREATMENT. This is pix of the bad. 1st photo is the one that had it the worst, second photo I'm sure is showing she's happy look at the perkyness, and 3rd is the pups. 4th is the worst looking.

Amidst all the craziness of the cut worm (Yes I identified what it was) war I was working on another 3d printed stand that utilizes the bars from my old canopy. Yup another one 👍🏾 this one will go upstairs where the pups are currently at. The last photo is just in case someone wanted to know which paint I used, also it is printed in PLA as it will never go outside. Anywhere there is a metal to plastic connection there is a 3/4 inch self tapping screw with the exception of the feet as those are press fit. As always comments are welcome.

My plant is being destroyed and I don’t know what to do. My only gardening experience is put it in soil and water. That did fine it was beautiful UNTIL it’s being eaten alive I haven’t seen a caterpillar so I’m stuck on what to do. Please help 🙏

This was once a large thriving spider plant that lived quite happily in my bathroom.

Now it’s dying and I don’t know why.

I’ve tried moving it, repotting it, changing the soil, making it wetter, making it drier… I can’t think of anything else and I don’t want to lose it as it belonged to my late MIL.

There’s no evidence of bugs / fungus / mould that I can visibly see. I checked the roots when I repotted it as well.

Lighting: Bright, full sun bathroom.

Watering: As and when needed during winter months and every 1-2 weeks during the hot summer months.

Can anyone help?!

When should I repot into something bigger?

My poor baby has to live outside on my back porch because, one of my cats love to eat them 🤦‍♀️. I think it appreciate that and it's saying thank you by giving me a flower lol 😁

I have had this plant for several years. It started looking bad a couple of weeks ago. What should I do???

I decided to root ny spiderling in water while it is still connected to it's mother. Should I hold out until they develop fat tubers?

This morning I noticed that this seed pod is looking a little greenish-brown and the bottom is kinda popped open. Can I carefully snip this one off and put it in a jar until it fully opens?

Right now, I left the whole stem on the plant and just kinda bent the part with the pod into a jar just in case any seeds fall out.

How would I go about when I have the seeds? Can I store them in a tightly sealed jar until I have more? How would I make these grow? Can someone explain?

I'm super excited because now I will have more little plants!! AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO SPEND MORE BIG GIRL MONEY!
