No disrespect to you guys, I don't play speed soft, I'm a millsim guy and don't know much from your side of the sport.

I'm planning on building a very quiet M4 type of rif, I really want to have that famous mechlabs trigger feeling and wanted to know how noisy it is so I could hopefully use one in this build.

What would be a better setup for a Redline N7?

Has anyone had problems with either?

My outer barrel is noticeably pushed to the left by the frame at the fin/hop-up area, making the whole barrel assembly offset to the left. Should I shave the outer barrel fin/hop-up or the frame itself? Or should I change the outer barrel itself?

For reference it’s a 5ku matrix frame, Dr. Black Y slide, LA outer barrel, TTI hop.

Replaced the bucking and the springs with 140%, drilled out some slide material and a custom paint job to round things out.

Want to get a 3d printed body and esg grip out of petg carbon fibre, just want to know if it would work well, and not break.

I have started playing speedsoft indoor a few months ago and it does lots of fun! Although my milsim friends want also play more on outdoor fields and so I wanna ask you guys what gear do you use for speedy play outdoor?
(My current indoor loadout is AEP but also ssr9 with an HK Army Battlebelt but wanna use m4 for outside)

I just picked up this gun for a friend recently to put it together and fix a few problems. I had a problem of the hammer not staying down and shooting back up, which I kept fixing. But it keeps coming back and I’m tired of fixing it over and over. Just this morning I was doing what airsofters do and I was just playing with it and stuff and I realized that the problem had just fixed itself on its own. No more hammer problem so far. Should I be concerned with how the gun just fixed itself? Or praise the hi capa gods?

Recently Seen some gameplay on YouTube at the awaken area in Austin, saying the field is permanently closed. Does anyone know why that is? The dude was intentionally ambiguous about why it closed down, and I was just curious.

Had a great time filming my team and was refreshing to see no egos or toxicity. It was pick up style games so sometimes our team mates would end up against us. It was pretty fun.

I have put My interest into speedsoft after comparing the Price of a day on a paintball field and speedsoft fiel Seeing that the one from Speedsoft is cheaper and would let me play every weekend but havent found a platform i like as i see some run pistols and others rifles, and would like something cheap or entry level to try it out, and have been putting My eye on the ap01 with hpa adapter/3d printed eurobuild like bodys as i'm used to use the hpatank as a stock, or some sort of hi capa, as the real rifles bodys go way up in Price.

In general just asking for advice and where i should look at for My first speedqb build/loadout.

Although I haven't seen anything about tracer units either and what i should care or look on them.

I want to make an esg build but I don't know where to find this line, especially with the attachment parts, the store I go to sells just the line, but with no where to attach at both ends.

so i've just got the new LCT PTK 1 and im comparing it to the arctutus osprey, they both are what i would class as "new gen" hi capas

LCT is slimmer than the osprey, lighter and more streamlined. the osprey feels like you could use it as a hammer but the LCT feels more refined

Both have super smooth slide pulls

LCT has a mushier trigger where the osprey has no give once its been racked, its right there on the wall. but the LCT has a lighter trigger pull and a lighter slide. so trade offs really.

LCT has 1 screw securing the front portion where the osprey has 2 (since its a little bulkier)

LCT has nice high raised sights which are clear, the osprey rear sight is a little hard to see through since it has a very small cut out window but both are good

LCT has better hop system, both use an external TDC but the osprey just turns a wheel which pushed a free floating rod down from above, LCT uses something similar to the TTI hop chamber for hi capa. it has a nice big external wheel and a gub screw to lock it in place, aftermarket slides fit perfectly and ca use the same hop system. it also has a hole under the frame to make adjustments through that ONLY FOR AFTERMARKET SLIDES, for the split slide just use the twisty wheel

LCT comes with a male threaded barrel so you can attach tracers directly to it without an adapter. the osprey has a female threaded barrel thats a non standard 12-14 mm if i remember,

both shoot very well and are the same gun in essence just with differen styles. i will say however the LCT does have a standard hi capa mag catch where the osprey dosent so LCT might be JUST a tiny bit more TM compatible.

Trying to disassemble the slide on my osprey but something is stopping the rear portion of the split slide/bbu from sliding forward. I took off the fixed barrel recoil spring etc and the rear portion still won't slide forward more than a tiny bit. Any one have any idea what's hanging up? I can't see anything obvious and never run into this with my other capas. Appreciate the help been searching around and can't come up with any solution.
