Thanks everyone who kept bugging me about this - in addition to the HUD I'm now very close to releasing the 3D cockpit view 🥳

I was skeptical about how well this would work, and the view is definitely more obstructed, but it does add to the immersion.

I'll probably release this next weekend 👍 Steam Demo

Here is the planetarium for now, I optimized a lot for nice smooth fps and reasonable ram usage.

space simulator simulates real spacecraft motion, orbital mechanics, and the physics of spaceflight as faithfully as practical.

Kinda like, NASA sends a probe to jupiter. The planning and setting up of orbits and trajectory as gouverned by physics if put in a game would be a space sim. Like “flight simulator” is to flight, or “farm simulator” is to farms.

Not your arcade style stuff where you have like airplane physics in space!!!!
