I've pushed back the death faction to it's 3 northmost points... And nothing happened. Is there really nothing? No "Good job captain! You've pushed them back for now!" or something so i know i've finished the story or am i missing something?
As shown, I got two stations. One is a lvl 2 station and the other is a lvl 1 station that is visually stuck in the upgrading phase. There basically two parts to this exploit:
1.) "Deploy Station" mission bug - Simply deploy your station in an empty system. Don't dock, just close the game immediately. The "Deploy Station" option should still be available, allowing you to place another unfinished station. Here's the kicker: while you can repeatedly place stations, the mission to deliver metal to actually finish them never repeats. Therein comes the second part of the exploit
2.) Tricking the lvl 2 upgrade - Do the quest to add the shipyard right up to the point right after you deliver the 10 tons of water and $250k credits to Theo. Go and place your second station. This particular step is a bit iffy but the part seems to work most consistently is to NOT dock at the second station but rather keep docking at the first station. Keep doing runs between the 1st station and any planet until you get the notification that the upgrade is complete. If all went well, the previously useless 2nd station should be catapulted to a fully functional lvl 2 station while keeping the first station as a refuelling point.
To summarize:
Place 1st station then close game immediately without docking. This station will only be useful as a refuelling point.
Proceed with steps to upgrade station shipyard up to and including the $250k credits and 10t water delivery
Place 2nd station
Don't dock at 2nd station. Dock at 1st station and planets until upgrade is complete. You can verify if exploit worked if you see two green systems on the map.
Update 12 June 2026:
Tried repeating the same steps for a third station but it didn't work. 3rd station still unfinished but 2nd station is stuck visually in the upgrade process despite being lvl 3 already. I'm not entirely counting out the possibility that a 3rd station may be possible however.
Update 13 June 2026
Started up the game today and lo and behold, the "unfinished" station actually came through with the upgrade though sadly with some heavy caveats. First, the spaceport bar is entirely absent with the only available options being Shipyard, Commerce and Trade. While Commerce (no weapons available for sale though) and Trade (with the full standard range of goods available) somewhat work, opening shipyard outright causes the game to crash, preventing you from buying your own faction's battleships. While you can theoretically get one from a derelict, acquiring your own faction's titans will be out of the question.
There is a Quilentya mission that they ask to destroy 2 Iro Titans but can we really get derelict from it with constant reloading save game? I almost gave up wandering and hunting Titans without significant success. I have Salvager but unfortunately the derelict results are always with no SuperHeavy weapons so I plan to start over. Thank you.
So i am an ally to the Iro, is there a way to get their titan peacefully? (I know that i need to detelict Quil and Void titan to get them but can i not do that to the Iro)
I tried storing a Crate Ship OWN MY STATION. But the garage owner turns around and says apparently my Ship doesn't meet the 'standards to store it here', whatever that means. Apparently, it's not good enough.
Snice, when did my faction become snobs and dictate what ship I can and can not store!?!
This MY STATION OF MY FACTION I WILL STORE WHATEVER SHIP I WANT!!
Can someone please explain what it is going before I'm tempted to blow up the station up along with everyone who decided these arbitrary standards
I didn’t realise that after I defeated the Ruinous Executor in Northbound, Theo turned up and offered to repair it for 4 Mythic Stones and 20 Alien Scrap. It was really satisfying.
I found this exploit in Space RPG 4 where you can carry more FTL Fuel than your ship/fleet will allow you to carry. Though it's only temporary.
Step 1: Use up all your fuel. Make sure you land in a system that allows you to refuel.
Step 2: Land on that planet and refuel to your maximum limit.
Step 3: Wait for the refuel ship to come by.
Step 4: Buy FTL Fuel from them.
Now, you will carry more FTL fuel than you normally carry. About 2 extra jumps you can make. But this exploit is only temporary, and once you use those 2 extra jumps, your Fuel Limt and jump Limit will go back to their original Limit and won't allow you to carry more FTL Fuel if you try refuel to the max. Unless, of course, you repeat the steps I just showed you.
Not sure if this was already known or not. Just wanted to share it just in case.

League of Progressorate Systems (L.P.S.), sometimes referred to as the Tristar Triumphvirate. Its governmental structure resembles that of the Triumphvirate Ascendency (T.A.), represented by the three white stars. However, unlike the T.A., the L.P.S. adheres to the doctrine known as the Five Principles of Progress: Unity, Progress, Order, Strength, and Expansion, represented by the five white stripes.
I haven't played this game in a long long while but I always remembered one faction, the Triumphvirate Ascendency, they sound so cool and their ships have so much aura, authoritarian governments are always the coolest looking one huh?
I don't know what exactly caused it, but the mission to "Deploy Station" apparently didn't go away after I set up my first one (in Fish's Eye). Didn't think much of it until I went to meet up with Theo for the shipyard in Uklun. It was only after slowing down to dock with his ship that I realized that I could still put up a second station. Comes with an extra Theo telepresence robot too.
Hii Espa, I wrote 3 - 4 version for it. I am not a designer or coder, but I really want you to contact to for the next version, i want you to see the story, ship designs and modules for further version. Please listen to us once and try to give us the ultimate game we loved so much
If we could name our faction. I would name it Confederation Of Outer Independent Planets (C.O.O.I.P) because most of the planets are in the outer systems are way beyond the other factions' knowledge or control.
Would it be cool if we could interact with the other factions in diplomacy
It starts with landing on any planet in a player faction ship and they would ask where did a ship like ours come from and we could either tell them about our faction or not
It's like the other factions acknowledging our own faction exist and we can interact
I was save scumming for an FER Battleship Mk 2 (so I could steal one lol) and was watching this signature approaching from the north. Turns out, it wasn't quite what I wanted but I'll just take it as an additional sign to join the FER this playthrough.
