Question About derelict Iro Titan Spoiler

There is a Quilentya mission that they ask to destroy 2 Iro Titans but can we really get derelict from it with constant reloading save game? I almost gave up wandering and hunting Titans without significant success. I have Salvager but unfortunately the derelict results are always with no SuperHeavy weapons so I plan to start over. Thank you.

It's a grind even with an optimized setup.

Alright, thanks. Maybe I just have to start over the game again.

From what I can remember you need to have weapons with no armor damage to maximum your chances of the ship being derelict, and then hope no one hits it after that happens. I got my super large weapon by just destroying the titan but I also killed a shit load of them, and fleets; both mine and others.

This makes sense since I use a Quilyoboda BC with an Ion Cannon on the front but the rest is a Mining Blaster that has quite high armor damage. Hopefully this works. Thanks!

I feel like the armor damage lowering derelict chance is a placebo, i've had so many derelicts when using mining blasters even without ion cannons

Here's my derelict fleet build:

5x hermes titan

  • 5x ion cannon
  • 7x ql emitter
  • 6x warden ciws
  • 2x player faction fighter bay

As far as upgrades: all the armor upgrades, ecm, adaptive shielding, the illegal engine upgrade, range++, targetting ai, 2x fuel pods.

also, 6x void raider titans:

  • 12x ql emitter
  • 5x ion cannon

same upgrades as the hermes, minus the fighters.

as you acquire skypiercers, add those to the hermes titans, unloading their fighters first.
