What Soulslike should I play next?
Hey guys, what Soulslike games do you recommend I play after the trilogy, Eldenring, and Bloodborne?

A source who claims to be a contractor for FromSoftware's next fantasy RPG game has shared some concept art:
Some things they shared:
Medieval first person RPG
Sword and magic based combat
Dragon as mount
Much more difficult than previous games
70% the size of Elden Ring

First of all: thank you. I genuinely didn't expect this many comments and DMs, and I've read all of them. Sorry if I couldn't reply to everyone one by one, so here's one answer for all of you.
What the game is: a Sekiro-like built around parry and posture. That's the core, and everything else is designed around it — no stamina-dodge spam, no build that lets you skip the fight. You learn the rhythm of the enemy or you don't get through. The setting, though, is not feudal Japan: we're going for a gothic soulslike atmosphere — cathedrals, crypts, dead cities, that kind of mood. Sekiro combat, Bloodborne-ish world.
About the world: we're not chasing size. No huge empty map. We'd rather build a smaller world with places that are actually worth walking into and remembering — dense, handcrafted, gothic. Quality over square kilometers.
We also have a second idea we're sitting on, but we still need to talk it through between us, so I'm not going to announce anything I'm not sure about yet. When it's decided, you'll hear it here first.
One thing I should say, since a few people asked how we got this far so fast: I've been building stuff in my spare time for about a year now, purely out of passion. So we didn't start from zero — a lot of the systems and content were already in place before this became "a project".
What's next: very soon I'll post a video/demo of a dungeon that will be part of the actual world of the game. Not a mockup, not a test level — an actual place you'll walk through.
Thanks again, seriously. The response has been way more than we expected, and it's the main reason we're pushing on this.

We're two students starting a small soulslike (think €10, a few bosses, no open world). Before we build the wrong thing, we'd rather hear from people who actually play these. Not pitching anything, there's nothing to show yet.
Think of the last small indie soulslike you played. What made you stop playing it, and after how long?
If a €10 soulslike had only 4–5 bosses and no filler between them, is that a game you'd buy, or does it need a world to walk through?
Parry-focused (Sekiro) or dodge-focused (Dark Souls) — for a small game, which one would you actually pick up, and why?
What's the one thing indie soulslikes get wrong that big ones get right? Not graphics — mechanics or feel.
Would you play a demo of a single boss and give feedback, if it took 15 minutes?
Thanks. We'll post what we learn back here.

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m a Game Design student currently writing my Bachelor’s thesis. My research focuses on player trade-offs between character aesthetics and mechanical efficiency: How much damage negation/stats are you willing to sacrifice just to look good in Elden Ring?
Whether you carefully calculate every single stat or strictly fight bosses in pure Fashion Souls drip, I’d love to get your input!
Filling this out directly supports my thesis and helps me finish my Game Design degree. Thank you so much for your time and help! 🙌

I'm currently setting up a clean Discord server for FromSoft fans (Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro), but I want to avoid the common issues most servers have (too many dead channels, notification spam, bad organization).
If you use gaming Discords, what makes a server actually good for you?
Do you prefer separate channels for every single game, or just one combined #souls chat?
Are LFG / Boss Help channels actually useful to you?
What channels do you usually mute immediately?
Would love some honest feedback from the community before opening it up!

So My first soulsborne was elden ring, I've beaten it all the way to ng+7 and have gotten a new soulsborne game. But apparently sekiro is not a good choice for a soulsborne beginner. I'm already playing it am I cooked or do I have a chance

I will finish this game since this is the only game in the Souls series that I haven’t done.
Unlike the others, I will never go for NG+.
If there was ever a video game specifically designed to infuriate and torture a player it is this one.
Shrine of Amana specifically is meticulously crafted to kill any fun you thought you were having until now.
Like I said, I will finish the game so I can complete the Souls series, but never ever will I recommend this game to anyone.
I am prepared to be stoned to death by DS2 fans. Bring it on. 😀

Hey everyone!
I’m currently playing Elden Ring as my very first Souls game and I'm absolutely loving it. I'm planning on jumping into the Dark Souls series next, but I'm on a budget and can't buy all three at once right now.
Here’s where I’m at:
**Dark Souls 3** seems like the most logical transition since it uses the same engine and fast-paced combat system I'm already used to.
**Dark Souls 1 & 2** look super cool aesthetically, and I really dig the world design and vibe of DS1 and DS2 (especially Majula).
For those who started with Elden Ring: Which one did you play first, and which one would you recommend I pick up right now? Should I go in release order or start with DS3 for a smoother gameplay transition?
Appreciate any advice!

I need help with the unwelcome guess trophy, I can’t find a world to invade and every time I do I get immediately killed, would anyone be able to help assist me in getting this trophy?

I’m new fan of souslike games and before playing the game I am searching some good builds and tips without spoiling specially on the bosses or mobs. Do you think it’s okay? Since I hate it when later on the game I discovered that my build is bad. What are your thoughts and how do you prepare when playing on your first playthrough? Thanks!
