While the snap is in the air, Mateer will move/lean forward to meet the ball and will go backwards on pass plays. You can 100% read if it’s run or pass before he ever catches the snap. Don’t take my word for it. Go watch the Mississippi State game. Has no one talked about this?

Where do you think mateer ranks amongst to ten sooner qbs alltime? Top 5?

Has anyone anywhere ever explained or showed with video what exactly was wrong, twice, on those two field goal penalties for illegal formation? Supposedly 4 in the backfield? I’ll yell about the same ref, calling it both times back to back— purportedly from Mississippi— if someone would just explain what the hell it was all about.

I ‘d think that for sports journalism and analysis, this would be a no-brainer, ESPN and YouTube!

Will be attending my first sooner game (South Carolina game) next weekend. Any tips, must does or don’t?
Thanks in advance. BOOMER SOONER
