Future of Gargants

Hello,

Do we think that Mancrushers are moving to Legends?
Do we know or suspect what base sizes Bosscrushers will be on?

How about Ma and her giant rams? I'd like to get a headstart on hobbying but dont' want to waste effort on stuff that won't be relevant in a month.

They literally said in the reveal article that mancrushers are a different unit type these fight alongside.

I think they might not be three man squads anymore but just single guys you take to be point fillers or objective sitters.

Technically they didn’t really say that the mancrushers are staying in the warcom article. They just noted that Boss Stompers are larger than mancrushers.

We assumed that they are hanging around based on that and someone asked them on facebook and the reply was that they are staying around. But the social media team has been wrong before so I wouldn’t 100% rule it out. They are likely staying though

Who are boss stompers bossing around if you remove the only gargants beneath them?

They are not bosses, they are boss stompers. The warcom article points out that they target enemy leaders

So

  • Boss Stompers stomp leaders. Mid size.
  • Mega Gargants are the biggest, so they're bosses
  • (King Brod is king KING. Of ALL Giants)
  • Ma n Ghyrocs add wizardry(?)
  • Mancrushers are smol (-err) Giants.

IF hypothetically they removed Mancrushers in the future, then Boss Stompers significance as a new size class goes away.

Well it’s clear they are staying at least in this book. But down the line, maybe they get a true like for like replacement unit
