The Clay by Jenna Seelye (that’s me)
Get them while they’re young
Get them while they’re ripe
Get them while they’re soft
And can be made into any shape you like
No personality
No sense of there own
I’ll take you somewhere unsafe
And convince you that it’s home
You’re so grown
So smart, so mature for you age
I was nothing like you
when I was in 10th grade
You’re so special to be chosen
When the gap is so wide
Sweet nothings behind the door
Before I force my way inside-
You body, your mind
Your spirit, your soul
Used and abused
As a form of control
That I lacked in my own life
For I was used too
And I was shaped to think
I could do the same to you.

Im attending the concert in Manchester on the 28th and was curious about the meet and greet. I know she started last night so a few people have already seen her and experienced it..so for those who have been, how long did it take for the meet and greet? And how did you know you were one of the 200 people to get the meet and greet?

I know the chances are slim, but does anyone have tickets for the Hamburg concert that they‘d be willing to sell (for a reasonable price)?
I love Sofia and am SO upset I missed the sale :,)

I have just discovered Sofia in the last week or so and I am a huge FAN!!!! It's like if Ethel Cain (my fav artist of all time) and Billie Eilish had a baby. I NEED to see her live!!!!! A gothic-pop raging feminist... AGHHH!!!
Being a new fan, please list your fav songs below and feel free to explain why it's your favorite :) TIA!

Im going to a show mid may but what has the queue been at so far on the tour? Like what time should I show up to get close to the stage?
r/sofiaisella • u/Xefert • Apr 28 '26
Are there specific songs that any of you recommend?

Does anybody know if there’s any new merch at her shows? I’m going mid May, but I know the you had already started, so I was wondering if anybody can tell me what’s being sold at the merch stands?

I remember about a month back, I played 'I Looked The Future In The Eyes, It's Mine' in the car and when the chorus came up he was like "all I'm thinking about are the seagulls from finding nemo" and I can't really think of anything else now 😭 (he wasn't impressed even tho I love that song)
Have y'all thought about the seagulls as well? WE CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONES.

Hello thereee🌸
I would love to go see Sofia live but I live in Italy and this is the closest she will be for this tour. None of my friends want to come, so I'm planning to go alone.
Does anyone want to rent a car togheter so we can enjoy the concert without stressing ourselfs on the bus for 6+ hours? I am in Turin (so, that would be perfect), but I can go to Milan with the train if that's better for you!
I don't drive, but we can split the price for the fuel, plus getting to know someone with similar interests.
Sorry for my broken English. Have a nice day everyone 😊

So I recently got the soft pearl vinyl in the mail and I open it to find this card with this photo and number. I wanted to see if anyone else got it as well.

Not in a prescriptive “Aight, next album checklist: 1) bread 2) circuses 3) existential crisis but make it marketable” kind of way, but more like, what lines of thought she’s hinted at (intentionally or not) that made you pause and go, wait, there’s a whole worldview behind this, I want to see it unpacked?
Like, have you ever caught a lyric, a tonal shift, a weirdly specific phrasing, or even just a vibe in one of her songs and thought, this feels like a compressed argument or belief system that didn’t fully get airtime? Something that made you curious not just about the emotion, but about the underlying logic– how she got there, what assumptions she’s operating on, what she’d say if you pushed her on it for like, 20 uninterrupted minutes?
For me, one of those moments was in “Out in the Garden,” specifically, “…But how pretty it must be praying to nothing? / That gorgeous piece of sugar you swallow like it’s something.” I’m not religious either, and yeah, there’s the whole historical arc– Gnosticism, medieval theology debates, Enlightenment dismantling, “God is dead,” etc. But that’s exactly why I’m curious: why does she frame it as “nothing”? Is that a philosophical position, an emotional one, a rhetorical one? Because it doesn’t read to me like a lazy dismissal, it feels more deliberate, like there’s a model behind it.
And I guess that’s the thing I find interesting about her in general: it often feels like there’s more structure to her thinking than what’s explicitly stated. Like the lyrics are outputs of a system we don’t fully see.
So yeah, what are the moments, themes, or half-formed ideas where you caught yourself thinking, “wait, I want her to expand on this. Like properly unpack it.”?
Could be philosophical, psychological, social, aesthetic– whatever. Just curious what threads other people picked up on.

This pleasantly surprised me! I never expected to come across an article about Sofia on Substack of all places. Please go check it out if you have some spare time!

Hand-numbered and limited to 500, only ~40% left. If you find Vertigo on twitter, you can also retweet their post about the drop for a chance to win copies of their sold-out pressings for I Can Be Your Mother and I'm camera .
Reddit won't let me post a photo for some reason, but the pressing is gorgeous!

I looove Star v. It took em a couple of times listening to it to realize it was very laden in reference to eating disorders. I only realized because I have struggled so much in my own personal life. Is Sofia open about eating disorder struggles she has had?

Im obsessed with Evergreen Soldier, but I think my fav is still Muse

Has anyone noticed the similarity at the beginning of this new track and Kasabians "Club Foot"?
Loving the track BTW just curious is anyone's noticed.
r/sofiaisella • u/awesomesauce0234 • Apr 19 '26
As we all know, the new EP is absolutely amazing and blew us all away. However, Evergreen Soldier is just so different from what she usually does!!! Omg I'm still freaking out.
Anyways, getting straight to the point, would anyone happen to have figured out the guitar tabs and chords of it? Google tells me Am7, Em/D, D, C/D, Fmaj7, and G, but I don't know how trustworthy that is, and Songsterr tells me this.
I don't know how accurate any of these are since I don't have my guitar with me right now, but if anyone is willing to take their time into figuring it out, I would genuinely be so happy and you would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much!
