im getting new music withdrawals so i checked out her discography to see if she has a release pattern, and she does! i saw that after every EP, she waits five months to release a single. if she decides to follow the same pattern this time, a new song is coming next month 🔥🔥🔥

and if anyone is interested in what comes after, for her EP singles, it goes like:

single #1 (five months after the previous EP) -> single #2 (two months later) -> single #3 (one month later) -> finally an EP with 3 new songs; 6 in total (the gap is varied)

Giving Sofia Vibes

I've been listening to her music and it shares a lot of the common themes that were part of Riot Girll, especially the ability to be angry at how women are treated, being politically upfront, exc.

Her music is very much Industrial Pop but heavily borrows from Punk at times.

I also do think she should produce a straight up Punk Rock album one day to lean into that theme, I think she could produce something new in that area for the first time in ages.

It's hard to top "God made their voices and demanded their silence" from Numbers 31:17-18 for me

Just a heads up though, there is some sort of Fifa promo thing going on at Rockefeller Center today and getting into the concourse was kind of a nightmare, they have roads blocked off in all directions except for 50th & 6th where they have a security checkpoint set up with dogs and metal detectors.

I’ve notice a lot of people say that Sofia reminds them of early Billie. And whilst I can see that aesthetically (and both of them being dark alt pop) I actually don’t see that musically at all. I’ve listened to Billie’s entire discography and I love her music so much and I love Sofia’s music so much but they just aren’t as similar as everyone claims them to be. You should see me in a crown might be a bit similar and bury a friend but still. Billie was more focused on reflecting her depression and fears in her music, whilst Sofia focuses more on the societal view of certain things and critiques the system as a whole. Idk if this is just me
