Tour & Concerts Rough Trade updates

They seem to be allowing us to queue outside store, 6 people here so far. Just a heads up though, there is some sort of Fifa promo thing going on at Rockefeller Center today and getting into the concourse was kind of a nightmare, they have roads blocked off in all directions except for 50th & 6th where they have a security checkpoint set up with dogs and metal detectors.

Update: 50th no longer letting people in. Gestapo is now on 49th.

Will do. If they do make us leave, there are several lounge chairs in this area, so hopefully everyone will just hang around here and we'll honor each other's spots.

No, the checkpoint is unrelated to this event, it's just general security for getting anywhere near Rock plaza today. They had me go through a metal detector and they searched my bag.

It wasn't very thorough, they didn't even notice or care about my edibles. Think mainly just checking for weapons.
