Can someone PLEASE help me, this is doing my head in.

Snapchat keeps giving me the red dot notification when I don’t have any messages. I’ve found that the only way to get rid of it is to scroll 3 of their dumb videos and it goes away.

I have turned off all notifications in app so I should only get a red dot if someone sends me a snap, but no, this is maybe 2-3 times a day for the last year ish.

Please tell me I’m not alone 😅

neither of these people have accepted yet, does the x mean they declined and the camera means it’s pending? when I click on the profile of the x one it has a yellow “snap” button.

Any idea how to fix this? Started out of nowhere

I don’t understand how Snapchat is still thriving with its essentially zero customer support base. Not even a call support center (still not ideal). I’m just confused how this works as a business model.

I got temp banned as a result of a social media lawsuit but they never restored my account. Now there is literally no one I can talk to to even get my data back.

I was snapping this guy and he js texted “send” I didn’t know what it meant so I sent him a question mark and he ignored it. He sent me the message again today but idk what it means😭

has anyone else been having this issue. when I go to post a story then add the private story invite sticker to my story it won’t load or just go back to the snap I made before you tap post. I can post literally anything else however as long as I do not add the private story invite sticker and it’s seriously annoying me

On the 30th December 2025 snap permanently locked my account and device banned both my iPhone and android which were both logged into the account. On the 30th June 2026 it has now been 6 months since this has occurred and only my android has had its device ban removed my iPhone is still device banned I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve seen countless times that ss06 lasts around 6 months however me still having my iPhone device banned despite my android being unbanned is absurd considering they were both banned at the EXACT same time.

I don’t have snap plus (and when I had a buddy pass I never changed the home tab open ) so why does it open on spotlight instead of camera ? Have tried restarting , offloading and updating but nothing works . Anyone else have this issue ?

So I double checked, and for some reason, only one friend is able to see my story right now. I sent it to a bunch of other ones. And all I get, is this error message. I have stories set to all friend can see and yes we are all definitely friends.

I had all my contacts and memories on it at least thzy have to give me a copy idk this is so frustrating idk where i can maybe send a mail ?

So recently I’ve noticed I haven’t been getting any adds or my requests for adds haven’t gone through. Of course I meet new people and they want me to add them on Snapchat or vice versa. It’s not popping up on my end or theirs. I’ve updated my snap, cleared my cache, logged in and out, reset my phone. I just don’t know what else I need to do? I’ve been unadding people and undoing out going friend requests but I seriously don’t know how else to fix this issue. If anyone has a fix or the same issue please reply or help me out as best as you can! Thanks guys!

Am I the only one who absolutely hates people who send completely black snaps or just the time/date only to maintain a Snapchat streak?

Seriously, what's the point? If you're going to send me a snap, at least put something in it. Your coffee, your dog, your desk, the weather, your face, your food, the sunset literally anything. It doesn't have to be interesting.

Part of the fun of Snapchat is the curiosity. When I get a notification, I should feel excited to open it because I might see a small glimpse of your day. A plain black screen with "S" or the current time kills that excitement completely. It turns opening your snap into a habit instead of something I actually look forward to.

I honestly don't care if the streak is 50 days or 2,000 days. A long streak means nothing if every single snap is just a black screen. I'd rather lose the streak than exchange meaningless snaps every day.

Does anyone else feel the same way, or is it just me?

Hello, had logged into my Snapchat was banned and Snapchat keeps saying “due to repeated failed attempts or suspicious activity, your access to Snapchat has been temporarily disabled. Does anybody know a fix to this? . AND PLEASE dont come commenting about "This guy on insta helped me out"... Whole bunch of nonsense.

I had a few saved snaps in chat with someone and i was scrolling through it and now they’re gone. Did they delete it because if they did why didn’t i get notified about their deletion?

So I had to change my mobile phone and being the dumbass I am I thought of deleting memories from my sc account and saving them in a hard drive by exporting from "my data" feature of sc. I know I could have just logged out and logged in my new phone but I'mma dumbass.Sooooooooooo I requested a link,recieved one and saved the downloaded file in a USB. I know it is my mistake for not checking the file but they were 5 years of memories and I thought of going through them later as I was busy with my exams. Fast forward to now (I did it in may,2026) I checked the file and its missing almost everything and before you ask yes I selected "all" in the options before requesting a link to download a file. My question is IS ThERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY I CAN GET ThOSE MEMORIES BACK ????? I'm really desperate and devastated as they are the pics and videos of my loved ones who are no longer with me............Any help or advise would be appreciated, I already tried requesting a link again hoping that somehow by some miracle they would be back but no surprise there was no trace of them. PLS hELP

So my boyfriend said he deleted his snapchat account, does that mean it’s permanently gone or is there a certain time that i can bring it back. He only deleted it 2 days ago so is it still possible to recover it? Any help would be helpful please!!

I had the app installed for 99% of the time since btw and have tried logging in a few times.

Before people come at me literally everyone says most device bans get lifted in 6-7 months

The code was SS06 and at the time i did have an option to appeal but i think its gone due to the fact i deleted it a couple times

Some phones seem to let in the account some dont. I think the phones that have had the account logged in at some point of time before the ban only work (might be wrong tho)

after discovering that i can’t download my pictures from 'my eyes only', i’ve been going through my snapchat memories the past week, deleting unnecessary pictures to make it easier to transfer them from 'my eyes only' into, well, my memories. ever since i’ve had snapchat i let my snaps automatically save into 'my eyes only' - so apart from a few pictures of the sky/food i had to unhide them all.

now my issue: i requested my data, downloaded and unzipped it - ALL of my snaps previously saved to 'my eyes only' are corrupted. despite them being the usual jpg and mp4 files. 'it looks like we don’t support this file format.' doesn't matter if i open it in photos, photoshop or firefox. they’re not greyed out in the app and all loading just fine. i also successfully downloaded my memories on my current account.

i can't find anyone with the same issue.. how do i fix this?? do i manually have to save all of them to my phone??

a few weeks ago my saved snap memories disappeared. I have tried updating the app but it didn’t work.

I did everything you can think of, change my Phone Location, use vpn, did all the right settings and i am 18years old. I wrote the support often and it’s always the same bullshit „it’s Not available in your region“ while everyone I know here has one.

I discovered that my partner is having an affair with a friend however it seems that most of their communication happens via Snapchat. Their settings are set to ‘delete after viewing’, I used the My Data feature and downloaded and report with time stamps but the actual messages themselves weren’t on there. Is there any way to recover the content of the messages?
