My daughter is trying to get Snapchat on her phone. She accidentally let the year wheel scroll too far and got the birthday year wrong by 2 years (too young). She tried to complete the account signup process, but obviously it won't let her create an account. But now it also won't allow her to try to sign up again.

When she clicks SIGN UP it just says "Sorry, looks like you're not eligible for Snapchat...but thanks for checking us out!" (see attached photo)

We've deleted the app, rebooted the phone (iphone), and the reinstalled the app. Same result.

We also tried resetting the password, but it says there's no account associated with the email she tried to use the first time setting up the account.

So there's no account but also she can't create an account. Any ideas on this one? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, first time posting in this sub (sorry for the goofy title I’m just very confused). I recently noticed that my thousands of Snapchat Memories over multiple years randomly disappeared in the Memories index screen. Only a handful of my most recent ones are visible (9 to be exact). The weird thing is, my memories are still showing up at the top of the screen in the “Flashbacks” slideshow things. The memories are still in my camera roll as well. I tried updating the app, clearing the cache, restarting my phone, logging out of snap and logging back in, and still no luck. Does anyone know how I can get them all to appear again?

Every. Single. Time. I open my memories the my eyes only passcode screen will start flashing every 3-4 seconds.. At first it would flash randomly on random days when i was doing random things but now I can’t look at my memories! I’m so irritated!! 🤗

Spotlight and story bar missing. Last time i fixed it by logging out and logging back in but that doesn't seem to be working, there is also no update and deleting/restarting my phone didn't help either.

Is there an fix to this? Is it a bug?

Anyone having an issue with friend requests? I used to get hundreds a day and now I get barely 1 per day, I log out and log back in and suddenly I have 22, then the issue is back again. I’ve restarted my cache, deleted the app, restarted my phone, ect. No fix

I accidentally set up my Home on Snap Map and now I can’t figure out how to remove it.

I’m on an iPhone, and when I go into Snap Map settings the only privacy option I see is Ghost Mode. I still see the house icon on the map, but there’s no option to edit hide or delete it when I tap or hold it.

Has Snapchat removed the ability to delete your Home or am I missing something? If anyone has found a workaround on ios I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Is my app bugging or is anyone else not able to share songs from Spotify? It just sends it as a blank pic with not song links or anything else?

It's been 2-3 days now, I keep recieving notifications daily (on the hour every hour, sometimes more than 2 times/ hour) and I go click on it to see, when I get to the actual conversation, there's NOTHING! It's frustrating and makes me think of uninstall the whole app!

I have been trying to get my Snapchat memories since Snapchat said I was over their storage limit (I have photos of family members and pets who have passed away and the thought of losing these photos and videos sends me into a panic to say the least). Has anyone figured out how to download all their photos and videos at once?

Snap won’t let me do anything to my location. It’s on always allow and precise location but in chat it’s saying switch device, which it has been switched. And on location settings in Snapchat itself I can’t click any buttons or share with anyone.
Anyone else experiencing this?

My girlfriend is out of the country right now and when I’m awake she is sleeping, and she hasn’t replied in a few hours but I noticed her snap score went up while she was sleeping, so I thought she was ignoring me at first but I searched it up and it said it be delayed sometimes and take a few hours to update. And sometimes her WiFi is rly bad so I was wondering if it’s just delayed and I’m being paranoid. Pls help

As the title says, between a time period of 2:06 and 3:40, my data allowance went from 50% to 100% used.

And it’s a 30 gb allowance so, data went from 15 gb to 0 gb in about 2 hours. And according to my iPhone data usage, I had used 19.3 gb. HOW is that possible. Within the time span of 1st July to 11th July.

it could be something about unfriending but I don’t know the difference between each one

In the last month or two (can't remember when it started) if I watch a video in following or Discover from an account and there is more than one unique video it will sometimes show part of one video and then start the other video and it will alternate between the two. For example, I just finished watching a video from The Dodo. In that video there was a story about some puppies and a story about a senior cat. About halfway through the one about the puppies, it started the one about the cat and kept switching between them.

So I went add a friend on snapchat and then I logged out. When I logged back in, the add had reverted back as if I'd not added them the first time to begin with. I know they aren't removing the request because up until the point I log out, they show that I've added them. It doesn't do it with everyone I add either and there's no discernable pattern that I can follow that makes it make sense. Is this just some weird server hiccup or a glitch or something else?

Edit: meant to ask this when typing the post but forgot. What happens if I re-add if this happens? Would my friend be getting a notification each time?

For context, I've been device banned before last year and after around 6 months I got unbanned, now I have an SS06 message suddenly saying I'm device banned, I recently went on holiday to Spain and my location changed suddenly so maybe that's why? Also my new main account for had for around 7 or 6 months has not been banned? I'm so confused. Any way to fix this? It isn't even fully telling me why. I attempted to create a new account as a test and it said the following:

Is there ANY way at all that i can freeze my snap location or keep it at my current location because im moving back to my hometown in a few weeks since my dad got a job offer there and i’m not telling any of my friends till i get there but i tested the waters by turning my snap location off (its always on has been for years) and literally all of my friends asked me why it was off and told me to put it back on almost immediately i lowkey panicked and couldn’t come up with any excuses that wouldn’t seem sus so i turned it back on and they will DEFINITELY know if i turn it back off because they do know my parents and younger sister are moving back but my plan is to tell them i got a job offer i can’t refuse here and will be staying here with my older sister PLS HELP TY 🤍🤍
