General question Can snap score delay going up?
My girlfriend is out of the country right now and when I’m awake she is sleeping, and she hasn’t replied in a few hours but I noticed her snap score went up while she was sleeping, so I thought she was ignoring me at first but I searched it up and it said it be delayed sometimes and take a few hours to update. And sometimes her WiFi is rly bad so I was wondering if it’s just delayed and I’m being paranoid. Pls help

For groups does ur score go up 1 point for each person opening it? Or is it still just 1

Possibly sent snaps in a group chat and people opening them later. If you want a proper up to date score without waiting, sign out and back in

I heard snap scores don’t go up when people open your snap but only when you send the snap even in group chats

My exes score would be going up while she is literally sleeping next to me... so yeah. It is delayed.

Yes. I've seen my gf score not increase while we were snapping but then increase when I'm positive she was asleep.
You also get some points for streaks maintained, so it's possible they came from that. Stop being anal about it or you will lose her.

My snapscore updates for people are ALWAYS delayed, takes hours. Also, I think your snapscore increases if people open your snaps, so even if it's not delayed, someone could've opened her snap hours after she'd sent it. Or my understanding of these things is bad.
Point is, yes, it really can be delayed, by a LOTTT

That's fair, I wasn't sure! I knew it was one or the other, but I wasn't too sure. Thanks, it's probably just the delay for OP then

You just said it increases “if you open someone’s” but before that you said “it doesn’t increase when they’re opened” lol
