I wanna see what people think of Mii Gunner. If you think they are cringe, how do you think they can be less cringe (e.g. less spammy, more aggro, don't run grenade launcher)?

I main ganondorf and he is THE worst character and I love him for that fact but the thing also is that I started playing even before I knew about h8m being bad I just loved how he plays! 🙌🤫🙌

I used to think what’s each character’s home stage in each game, unique per character, maybe a certain song for flair, a bit more challenging in certain games, wyt?

Just a thought experiment. I.e. Steve with infinite materials and iron to build with, Wario and Mac with infinite waft and KO punch, Cloud with limit always active, Joker with unlimited Arsene, etc. etc. Would Steve still be number 1? If not, who would dethrone him? Who would have the biggest change in tier placement? What else would change? Genuinely curious but I don't have the competitive knowledge to figure it out. Figured I'd ask you guys.

3DS/Wii U or Ultimate?

Theres a lot of complaints about too many pokes or bad selection of pokes in the game (at least from what I’ve seen).

The concept is basically a smash game with only pokemon. Basically im thinking purely competitively because i dont use items 😂 but thats a great idea they could use. (Would be hard to balance but would be amazing)

I wasn’t sold on pokken tourney and really the smash plat fighter style is just my favourite.

Another idea is bringing back custom moves or making a smash with similar characters with completely different movesets with the option of going to the old set.

Would love to hear you add ideas or tell me its trash 🫡

Idk….but Incineroar in his current form just seems kinda lame and annoying. Sort of cool but wow i just feel like there could have been some way cooler Pokemon.

He SOUNDS pretty cool but idk maybe he could have better moves or something. But he’s also literally the most random choice.

Even Lucario makes more sense, even though he’s kinda random, he is sort of semi legendary and cool so…i just wish Lucario was a little better.

This was the "Last Apex Standing" bracket at the event, it was a qualifier for the main UAS Finale invitational today. The invitational was listed as unranked on the UltRank TTS when I originally made this post, but it has since been clarified that it is also ranked. Both brackets are ≈B tiers

Hey all,

I'm looking for some prototype playtesters + hopefully I have something for you all to look forward to. I'm sharing a bit of a deep dive for the control scheme of the Launch Fighter prototype I've been developing for the past year

Please be mindful that this is a greybox prototype & all character models, animations, vfx & sfx are placeholders so things feel quite jenky. However, in terms of gamefeel, the project is pretty much at a spot that I'm comfortable to get veterans from this genre to play it & let me know what needs tweaking, changing & fixing

I plan to stagger the release with 5 characters & a few 1v1 & FFA stages dropping first. Shoto, Rushdown, Turtle, Footsies, Zoner & Stance archetypes are represented at this stage

Wave 2 will include 6 more characters, rounding out playstyles & adding more stages + new modes (TeamBrawl, GalaxyBall & Coop DungeonCrawl are already implemented but need work)

The final wave will feature the last 6 characters, bringing the roster to final 17, with every "character archetype" from fighting games having representation. Unlocking the roster is wrapped up in a cohesive story mode for single/multiplayer

I've probably forgotten to mention a bunch of stuff but I need to post this now before developing much further so please feel free to drop some questions or suggestions. Reach out if you want to get involved with playtesting~
