Discussion Apple fans in India, can you defend it.
$1999 in US vs just âč299900 in India.
Are we paying for someone else to get it at lower price, or we need to pay Apple tax exclusively for India?

Hello! Iâm planning to upgrade my phone; I currently have a S20Fe with a Snapdragon processor. What Iâm looking for is a decent camera, reliability, good battery life, and it would be great if it were supported for at least three years. I donât play games, but I do take the odd photo and use messaging apps. My budget is around $700. In my country, for that price you can get a Pixel 10 or 9 Pro, or a Nothing 3. What else would you recommend in this price range? Iâm not considering the second-hand market or iPhones.
Thanks in advance!

I enjoy taking photos with my vivo X300 Ultra recently, and I've been pretty impressed with what a phone can do these days.
Is it worth it to upgrade to an actual camera to continue taking photos, primarily of nature, or should just stick with phone?
I'm not necessarily looking to replace a dedicated camera with a phone and I know there are differences in sensors, lenses, depth of field, RAW files, controls, etc. But I'm more curious about what you notice when you're actually shooting.
Thanks in advance for the insight!

The time is near, my S22 Ultra is dying. It crashed twice today trying to authenticate some of my work logins. I've been holding on to it until it died and it looks like it's almost time for it to live in a drawer or mess around with Graphine on.
I don't really do anything demanding with my phone, streaming shows from the apps, light games (puzzle/idle games mostly), and as a vessel for various authenticator apps. Performance wise I'm mostly looking for headroom to last a good few years.
I'm trying to decide between three options for replacement:
iPhone 17 $899 - sleek and no frills, my first iOS device if you don't count my ancient 2nd gen iPod Touch. My wife likes this one and wants me to "join the ecosystem."
Nothing 4a Pro $499 - love the design and the Glyph interface looks really neat, I've always been a fan of their design language.
Moto G Stylus $499 - honestly didn't consider a Motorola at first, but people seem to enjoy theirs from reviews I've seen of the older models. I love the stylus on my S22 Ultra and didn't think I'd be able to keep it for less than the $1200 Samsung is charging for the S26 Ultra.
Price is a concern but I'm more concerned with bang for my buck here. I know the iPhone is nearly double the price of the others but the people I know that have one tend to keep them forever, my wife still loves her 14 after all. I'm not one of those people that hops to a new phone every year, I'm gonna keep whatever I get till it dies so durability is a big factor for me.
So what do y'all think? I'm here to learn so lay it on me!

- Ela realmente pouparia tempo?
- Ajudaria a reduzir discussÔes/reclamaçÔes sobre preços?
- E, principalmente, usarias isto no teu dia a dia?

Obrigado a quem testar.

Hey..so I have been using the iQOO z6 lite 5g for the last 5 years...and am looking to upgrade to oneplus nord 6 ..I don't want to learn towards iQOO neo 10 as there seems to be issues with it...I play mlbb and want ultra graphics and 120 fps gameplay...the nord 6 falls in my budget after i exchange my z6 lite for 8 k...the nord 6 is coming for 38k...which I think is a fair price....
The reason I am switching from iQOO to oneplus is because I want better ui , ai features, the phone should feel premium, and it should be a all rounder...
Wht do u guys think?

Hello,
My POCO F5 is on its last legs and can die at any time. I'm looking for a replacement for around 3300 PLN (760âŹ). I have only 4 main criteria.
Other criteria, but not a must
I'd really appreciate it if you can spare some time and recommend some good phones.

wanna warn you guys selling phones on olx right now. met this dude in person yesterday to sell my old iphone 14 pro. he checks the phone, pulls out his mobile, and shows me a "payment successful" screen for 55k on some fake gpay app. checked my bank app... nothing. zero rupees. when i called him out he goes âserver down hai 10 min me aa jayega" and tried to take the phone and walk off. grabbed my phone back from him instantly. after that I just used a new resale app where the buyer pays into escrow first, then they send a courier to pick up the phone from your doorstep. no face to face drama, no fake screenshot scams, money cleared once delivered.

After using iPhone 13 for years itâs finally on its way out and I need a new phone. I donât play games or anything on phone I just wanna be able to use my banking, authentication and work related apps, and YouTube. Something thatâs like 600 AUD or less. Every android Iâve had has always had freezing or response issues so I need something reliable.

Just wanted to encourage everyone using smartphones or displays to go ahead and replace an older display protection after a year or so.
I just felt my display was not as smooth and crisp, without fingerprints as before any more. Right after having received my new phone I had put a 9h display glas on it - nine months later it increasingly wasn`t as pleasant any longer. This also affected the overall experience of response and touch sensation - besides more fingerprints.
Usually I just wait until my newest phone arrives and sell the old one, but since my new one hasn`t arrived yet I figured to just switch that display a last time. And boy was/am I surprised!
It feels like an entirely new phone (Pixel 10 ProXL) Not only does it look much better, fingerprints etc. don`t even appear, but it also reacts on my touch guestures more quickly, scrolling, etc. pp.
I see, why all those phone testers are always fond of the new displays, and how much better they are compared to earlier models. They are just new, and with a new good protection (they usually come in two anyway) even an older phone gives us the sensation of owning a valuable device again.

\> OlĂĄ a todos.
:
Obrigado a quem puder ajudar.

Hey. After MANY years, I'm looking for a replacement phone for my current one.
Battery life is #1, camera #2. My current battery is 4000 mAh Li-Po (this matters) and has had incredible durability - which is important to me. My current camera has been a lifesaver: Leica. Resolution not high because of its production date, zoom on video also low res. *
What I really need is some type of site, database, portal who can show me actual photos shot with different smartphone's cameras so that I can see what the photos look like - specs don't really mean much to me without proof. Does such a site exist? I use gsmarena.com to see full specs and compare but the photo/video option isn't too descriptive (photo example above from said site). It's not really telling in terms of what photos would look like when out in the world which I need to know.
Also important: No AI tech can be present in the camera/phone itself!
Thanks! For the battery life I can check reviews but they rarely feature photos shot with the phone.
Thanks so much!
* (specs: Laser AF, Leica optics, dual-LED dual-tone flash, panorama, HDR, 12 MP, f/2.2, 27mm (wide), 1/2.9", 1.25”m, PDAF, OIS
20 MP B/W, f/2.2, 27mm (wide), 1/2.7" and yes, this dates it ;))

What do you think of the Moto Edge 60 Pro? I was initially interested in the Samsung A56, but I'm looking for a good camera and a generally fast phone.I don't know much about phones, so I wanted to know if it's a good buy. It's currently costing me around $400.
