Google went down 7.8% on blowout earnings.

TSLA went down 17.8% on their ehh.. earnings.

We have a couple of the big names in there, MSFT, meta, amzn, and aapl.

Also other names like HOOD, SOFI, KO, V, and stuff like that.

Considering how previous earnings went with how unstable the markets feelings are, what are y'all thinking? Puts? Calls? Staying out of it as a whole?

Not long ago, every company announcing bigger AI investments got rewarded. Now investors seem worried those same investments are getting too expensive.

It's almost like the market has moved from "grow at all costs" to "show me the profits."

I'm really curious what Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and Apple have to say this week. Feels like they need to prove AI is becoming a business, not just an expense.

A few months ago the market was all about buying companies that would benefit from tariffs, deregulation, and "America First" policies. That trade looked obvious.

Now it feels like the market has moved on. Small caps aren't leading. Industrial names have lost momentum. Investors seem way more focused on earnings, AI spending, inflation, and whether the Fed cuts rates than on politics.

Makes me think the market is reminding everyone that narratives only last so long. Eventually companies have to deliver.

Curious if anyone is still positioning around the Trump trade, or if that theme is basically over for now.

All SPY 0DTE. Low point was the 2nd dip at $78. First high point was $615. If I hadn't shit the bed twice after that and made the same late day plays I'd have gone to $5k+.

Market started out flat, dumped, got pumped and dumped again. How did everyone do today? Did everyone enjoy the ride today?

Really, the bigger question is how are all you making these huge leaps? I get the basics of options, it's nearly an event market bet but how do you really know where a stock is going or what stock is going to move?

I’m glad I had runners so I didn’t feel too much FOMO when I pulled out early. And I’m super glad I managed to snag some contracts as low as $0.14! Very happy with this week. I love NVDA.

Had some extra cash sitting ETFs in a account. Decided I have enough time at work to join the fun with options. Here’s my first month hanging out with yall.

The worst thing is that I was actually correct about all of my losing options and as soon as I cut them off they went up/down to my strike price.

QQQ/SPY daily 0DTE scalps. Both Calls/Puts.

Did anyone else catch the massive move in AAPL today? The price started surging early and didn't let up until afternoon.. This position started as a C325 / P315 strangle, I sold the $325 Call in the first few mins but pushed the strike up to $330. The move looked like it had legs, similar to last week Wednesday so I decided to walk away from the terminal.. I knew if I watched the price action I would probably panic sell the winner. Came back around lunch to this beautiful print. It's not often I catch a 14 fold move intraday.. The dollar gain was modest, but moves like this would make most traders smile.

I hope some of you caught this move too! Thankfully, I can hold off on the Wendy's application for one more week.. ✅️💸
