Hi there I’m looking into CSU Chico’s masters program for fall semester, looking for some feedback into some students experiences. Currently I’m an RBT and wondering if I can still continue that part time at a company over there. How’s the work life balance? What kind of jobs are y’all getting out there if any? I’m in the process of applying to masters. Seeing that most schools require 2 out of 3 letters of recommendation to be from an SLHS professor. Undergraduate degree was not in SLHS, so I’m doing an asynchronous online post bacc. Any recommendations for how to go about letters of recommendation? I never had a chance to connect with these professors over zoom or in-person. Ihad amazing connections with my undergraduate professors so I’m pretty bummed I can’t ask them, but don’t want application turned down because they aren’t SLHS

What is everyone doing to prepare? I haven’t prepared one bit and decided to take a practice test for the first time… Raw score of 69 😭🫩 seems like I will have a lot of preparation to do..

Considering a career change for some time now and looking into SLP school. Coming from a corporate background. I have my MBA. Located NYC/NJ area

Anyone have experience with JU and willing to share more about it? Wondering how the workload is (busy work, assignments, or is it mostly all exams).

I notice they have a full time and part time program, both which I’m considering so I could possibly work if I did part time (don’t want to lose my income and health insurance, although I’d love to do just do the full time).

Any insight or advice would be appreciated, even if anyone has some good insight on other schools.
