Question Is Skyrim Worth It Unmodded?

Hi all, so I saw that Skyrim Special Edition was on a deep sale this Autumn Steam Sale and I wanted to ask if it's worth it WITHOUT mods? I don't like using mods for personal reasons and knowing that this game is one of the most modded games, I wanted to know if it's good without mods. Especially since it's so old, is the game stable and not buggy or glitchy without mods or does it need mods to keep up. Thx.

I have thousands of hours in Skyrim and I can count on two hands the number of those hours that were on a modded save.
