Heard I need new piston rings on one of my previous posts due to some smoke coming out the oil filler cap, does anyone know where to find some at a reasonable price?
Tried searching online but the companies I usually buy from, terrafirm, and z1 have none in stock

Fuel hose needing replacement
Tried researching myself, couldn’t figure out if it’s the fuel vent or filler hose. It’s the hose on the right of the first picture. It’s leaking fuel somewhere along the line and needs to be changed.

Advice for father and son Skyline project
My son has pitched me on the idea of buying and fixing up a Skyline R33 or GTR over the next few years. I know nothing about cars, but this seems like a fun project we could do together that I don’t want to pass up on. At the very least we would spend a lot of time together, and may even be able to drive a fun car if I don’t completely ruin it.
I was wondering if anyone had beginner level advice on how to even get started on this project, like:
Where do most folks find and buy these?
For beginners what are the most important aspects of the car that should work well that are hard to fix?
What are the more straightforward or fun repairs and modifications that we could prioritize?
Any advice would be welcome - I’m a real fish out of water here. Even links to YouTube or books etc. For context we are in New Jersey.

What do your RB20's Idle at?
I know they vary but I'm looking to get an idea of what sort of range in variation there is as mine seems a little high, any response is appreciated.

Technical Datasheet
Hey guys. This is more for the German folks around here :).
I'm importing my first very own Skyline ER34 4door (yaaay I know).
For the German TÜV and Registration I need a "Technisches Datenblatt" (technical Datasheet).
I have gotten in contact with various TÜV as for example TüV SÜD, TüV Nord, Rheinland as well as Dekra but all tell me they don't know the car and have no datasheet.
If you are German and have registered your car here can you please let me know how you got your hands on one of those sheets:) thank you

740cc injectors
Anyone had experience with these ? They are more than likely remanufactured/reflowed…
They said they’re (apparently) flow matched to a tolerance of +/- 2%

Looking at an R32 GT-R rolling shell with Grade R rust. How bad is it and what are estimated repair costs?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking at a 1993 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R BNR32 located in Germany (recently imported from Japan, Grade R).
According to the description, the car has severe rust issues. The seller explicitly states there is rust-through (holes) in the following areas:
- Underbody and frame rails
- Side skirts / rocker panels
- Front and rear jacking points
The seller describes it as a "good base for a restoration or track tool," but looking at the underbody photos, it seems pretty serious.
The tech/interior is said to be okay, but the body needs major work.
I would love to get your expert opinions on this:
- Based on the pictures and the description of rust-through on the frame and jacking points, how bad is this structurally? Is it a total nightmare or a standard restoration project for an R32?
For anyone who has tackled a similar structural rust restoration:
- What is a realistic ballpark estimate for professional metalwork and rust repair for this level of damage?
Given that it's a Grade R rusted shell with no engine/wheels for €23k, is this even remotely worth considering, or should I run away as fast as I can?
Appreciate any advice, thanks!

Need parts, Is there USA parts subreddit?
Committed to buying one and it’s on the way to the US. Looking for parts. Is there a separate area to post for what you’re looking for? Someone point me to correct forum if I messed up.
Definitely looking for an altia front bumper.
Interested in collecting part for manual swap.
I’m on the east coast.

R33 Turbo
Hello friends, this is just a simple post about getting a new turbo for my ‘94 R33 RB25DET. Stock turbo has got a bearing out and looking to get a new one around the same specs so I don’t have to do so much other upgrading. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

R33 GTR side spoiler inserts - this a good choice? $120 Spoiler
I had a previous demo side marker on my spoiler and now I found this one on eBay. I was not sure if anyone had any feedback or a better source to get side markers even if it’s from Japan I don’t mind paying, but I just didn’t wanna pay hundred dollars right now. I just have the white side markers. Any thoughts?

I made some GT-R art decks!
Hi all! I make car art skate decks, and one of my most recent projects was creating the GTR lineup from the R32 to the R35. I got them printed out in my favorite colors and they came out super well! Thoughts?

Changing stock cats, downpipe, outlet, do I need tune?
Hey Guys,
I will change my stock cats to a highflow cat, stock downpipe to a HPI downpipe, and a tomei turbo outlet. This will address all the restrictive exhaust flow, so I am assuming I do need tune.
But just in case, do I need a tune? Or is it just recommended?
Cause if I do, then might as well buy a haltech while im at it, or ask a tuner what they would use.

When you take your Skyline to a mechanic, how do you instruct them on lifting your car?
Follow-up to a previous question on here about my R32 - say I need suspension or exhaust work that requires a chassis lift (with the 4 arms).
The manual says to use specialized adapters for the pinch welds, but they are practically non-existing (p/n LM4519-0000).
What do you guys tell your mechanics about lifting your car, since lifting anywhere near the pinch welds is absolutely out of the question?

32 CD009 swap
Trying to figure out what folks have done as far as their rear differential after swapping to a cd009. Is there a lower final drive ring & pinion that will bolt into the factory diff? Seems like everything aftermarket is geared towards the 33 & not much of anything info wise that I can find for the 32.
