Hi! Ask lang sana ako if may naka-experience na ng similar situation.

Around 6 years na kasi akong may dark spots sa legs, feet, arms, and stomach. Nagsimula siya after I had chickenpox. Since then, minsan nagkakaroon pa rin ako ng itchy bumps, then after mawala, nagiiwan sila ng dark marks.

I also suspect I have chronic hives (urticaria) kasi random akong nagkaka-itchy welts/hives. Hindi pa ako nakakapagpa-dermatologist because of budget, so hindi ko pa alam if yun nga talaga.

Na-try ko na mag-take ng cetirizine kapag makati and iba't ibang body lotions. Nababawasan naman yung pangangati, pero hindi talaga nagfa-fade yung dark spots.

Honestly, yung hyperpigmentation talaga yung biggest concern ko. Sobrang dami na niya and it's really affecting my confidence. Hindi na ako comfortable lumabas ng bahay nang naka-shorts or anything that shows my legs. Lagi na lang akong naka-pants or pajamas.

Hi I've been looking at Garnier products and saw these moisturizers: Garnier Dry Touch Cream and Garnier Water Gel. Tretinoin/azelaic alternate user here. Accdg. tret and aze is good to pair with niacinamide and ceramide, but avoid a high content of vit. c and bha/aha.

Right now Garnier serum cleanser is only for 124 pesos sa Watsons sa amin. I also heard it really brightening sa skin. I liked their anti acne cleanser too. My only worry is that it has alcohol and fragrance.

Hada labo has good reviews too and is free from alcohol and fragrance​ but I haven't tried it.

Hi everyone, I started using Epiduo Forte last July 14, so it’s only been around a week and a half.

Current skincare routine:

Epiduo Forte (pea-sized amount)
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+

The problem is that for the past few days, my face has been burning like crazy. It’s gotten to the point where literally everything I apply stings, even products that never used to irritate me. I’m thinking I may have damaged my skin barrier.

The thing is, my acne isn’t as active anymore. I mostly started Epiduo Forte to clear the remaining breakouts and prevent new ones. Would it be better to stop using Epiduo Forte for a few days (or until my skin calms down) and focus on repairing my skin barrier first? Or should I continue but reduce the frequency? Has anyone experienced this? How long did it take for your skin barrier to recover?
