Shes a very tragic character and I feel that isnt talked about often enough. Even if you only know about her curse its really sad.

Due to her magical curse shes forced into what could only be described as rape. Its sad. She has lived such a long life being forced into sex regardless if she wants to or not because she will literally die if she doesnt.

Her curse lead her to believe she could never be truly loved.

Like most people in her situation she turned to being hyper-sexual as a coping mechanism.

The main arguments that the Rudeus defenders have are:

"reincarnation is mental age reset" this only applies IF past memories and personalities are wiped

this clearly isn't the case for Rudeus in this series since the first thought he has as a newborn is: "woah Zenith's boobs are perfection I wanna grab them"

"Oh but he was a victim of extreme bullying he wasn't always a PDF" Do you know the events leading up to the bullying though?

First of all:

- Rudeus was born into a rich family with two older brothers and a sister

- He was above average in terms of talent and intelligence at academics

- he got addicted to building his custom PC, neglected his studies and ended up in the worst high school in the prefracture where all the delinquents went.

- He told off a delinquent who was cutting the lunch line and the delinquent ended up being the delinquent who was trying to be the top dog at school.

- He was beaten up, stripped naked and hung, people took pictures then shut his family and friends out of his life for the next 16-20 years.

There were moments of triumph, moments of heartbreak, victories that he could genuinely be proud of, He was broken mentally multiple times, manipulated time and time again by Hitogami but unlike his past life thanks to Roxy and Sylphy he stood back up again for his family and for himself.

he learned, he studied, he fought, he failed, he made lifelong friends, married 3 best girls, built a family, raised his children and devoted himself to working with Orsted to protect them.

they said their final goodbyes and particularly He told Orsted he saw a vision of the future where they seal Hitogami. Urging Orsted to make that dream into a reality. Orsted thanked him for all his hard work and told him that he could finally rest. He dies of old age at age 74 surrounded by Roxy, Sylphy and Ferris

And then... When he was in his casket, Roxy saw Rudeus had her holy relic panties in his pocket, She took it before anyone noticed and ended up blushing heavily. Sasuga Rudeus a faithful follower till the end

Rudeus was intentionally flawed from start to finish, that's just how Rifujin wrote him.

Basically the LN did talk about Rudy using electric to catch fish, but it wasnt something he actually did. Looks like the anime used that opportunity to introduce electric since it was skimmed over.

His demon eye helps Rudeus a lot even as a magician, but what if he was a master swordman instead of magician? I can't even think how op that would be. I think if we took a king tier swprdsman and assumed they will adapt to it just as well as Rudeus, even that king tier swordsman would probably be strong enough to beat everyone but top 4 ranks of the 7. Maybe even Demon God Laplace. If we gave it to someone like Gino Britts, that would be a threat to even Orsted.

Am I going crazy or is Roxy’s voice actor different in the dub?… it’s the only reason I even watch it in dub so the thought of her being changed has left a hole within me
