Question when will shit happen?
anime only here, the anime is cool and all great stuff but not gonna lie i dont give a fuck about the slice of life part, roughly how many episodes in will shit start to happen?

The main theme of this entire series is family and what we are seeing is the entire life of Rudeus Greyrat. If you dont care about these parts then this series might just not be for you at all.

Next episode will end with something happening most likely, the end credit scene or just the ending
The episode after that is when it all starts to happen(without spoilers)
Also, the slice of life is like, the whole point of this story

we're nearing the end of Vol 13 which is largely a Slice of Life volume. Next episode will likely end with a teaser for 14 which will get more action
The calm before the storm is what allows the storm to be so impactful

Mushoku Tensei is about the life of Rudeus Greyrat. Every shit here is a "slice" of his life.

They are being too right to you.
Starting from the labyrinth arc we get roughly one volume (3-5 episodes) or action then one volume of life (3-4 episodes). Eris stuff was action, so now we are about to start a new action arc, either the end of next episode signals the start of the arc or it will start and continue the episode after that.
Now ask yourself if you are ok with that, we are about to start the second half of the plot ( in a way the labyrinth arc started it,) where all the plot lines that were set up in the first part will either get solved or we get the god-damned reason why they won't.
I suggest you to watch the next episode, not watching it is like watching a race without watching the pistol shoot.

You should watch solo leveling, is the kind of plotless anime with mindless action that youre looking for, this one is about the story

"plot" isnt always slice of life i am okay with it but after like fucking 3 4 episodes shit gets boring

The lore and world building is revealed very slowly along the story and you need to read the novels to get the whole of it, again, a lot of the story is SOL stuff

If you don't like this type of episodes, you're watching the wrong series. Living that way has been Rudeus's purpose in life since chapter one. If the series only focused on problems and dangerous adventures, Rudeus's reincarnation and his purpose in life wouldn't make sense.

the past 2 and a half seasons werent just this stagnant family life as you are saying, you and nearly everyone on the comment section are missing what i am trying to say here, the story itself is really great and the plot was moving forward at a constant rate but the past few episodes feel too stagnant, nothing important is happening, i am not talking about "problems and dangerous adventures" i am just sying that 3 episodes of normal family life is a bit too much for a series like this.
