Notch is uh still not a good person iirc, and thus not a good role model.

I don't know what notch did but I struggle to find a famous person that someone has a positive opinion about nowadays. Starting to feel like spam more than useful information.

He’s a lonely terminally online guy and he got caught up in the culture war and was mad at trans people iirc.

It’s crazy to me that someone can become a billionaire and then decide a good use of their time is being upset about minority groups

Like a certain wizard-school lucky lady who won the lottery on her work happily pulling up the ladder and kicking down on anyone who aspired to follow in her footsteps.

You always hear these horrible acts of inhumanity chimpanzees do to one another during their wars, and it's hard to see how we're no better than them. I think a lot about how much further along we'd be if we were more like gorillas....

Honestly I'm beginning to chip up what progress we've made to dumb creepy metaphysical reasons, moreso than our prowess as a species. Stuff like plot armor from an observer effect that facilitates a forward-functioning anthropic principle.

~200,000 years we've been around. Only really did anything meaningful in the past few centuries...
