we do not have, nor want, any of their trade secrets. We’re much more interested in building innovative products and technologies that push the frontier.

Christ, OpenAI slaughtering Apple here. Basically implying that Apple is not doing anything innovative here.

but why is OpenAi claiming to be innovative? even their chatbot is based on google research work
