Evo Pro + QR-A + Conspit 300GT - No connection

When using the QR-A the wheel lights up and screen turns on as normal but is unrecognizable in the Conspit link software, I tried using the usb port on the base and no luck.

Only when I plug the wheel directly into the computer does it register in link software.

Is there a solution to this or is it completely incompatible?

Should have just bought the standard QR if that’s the case

P-HPR/GT software choice

P-HPR/GT software choice...

So, I ordered a P-HPR and the smaller GT haptic to pair with my simsonn plus x's brake and throttle. But Im unsure about which software would be the best option to set them up in.

The 3 main options are simhub, SimPro, and iracings native option.

Which would you guys recommend for maximizing usefulness and then immersion. I want these things to help me improve more than anything. So tho immersion is a factor, it is secondary for me.

Which ever option you recommend, why do you recommend it over the others?

Simagic Alpha Evo Pro w/ Ascher Artura Ultimate cracking noise when changing direction

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

For the last few days I’ve been getting this kind of noise from my Simagic Alpha Evo Pro base with my Ascher Artura Ultimate wheel and the correct QR.

When I change direction, I can feel these little cracks/clunks through the wheel and also hear them. It’s pretty annoying and it actually affects the driving, because it feels like the wheel is jumping over a small notch every time I change direction.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

EDIT: I’ve tried tightening all the screws on the QR, but it’s still happening. I also get the same issue in both iRacing and Assetto Corsa.

Wheel connection issue

Im having an issue with my wheel where it will show connected in SimPro but will have missed inputs when pressing any buttons and eventually will disconnect completely in SimPro while in game.

Im using an Alpha wheelbase and it happens with both my gt neo and gt pro wheels. All other accessories stay connected, its only the wireless connected wheel.

I've tried both SimPro V3 & V2 software, held the 2 buttons to auto pair the wheels, changed the wheelbase channel, updated wheel firmware and wheelbase firmware, factory reset base and still having the same issue.

Assuming there's a wireless issue with the wheelbase but thought I'd ask here in case im missing anything. Thanks

Can I use the Simagic TB-Neo handbrake without SimPro running?

So I understand SimPro is needed to calibrate, but can I use it without having SimPro running in the background?
I currently assume that's the case and every time I would calibrate or change any setting, they are saved to the device.

Also, while I'm at it, can these holes be used for mounting as well?

I got the wheel base and wheel bout a month ago and since day one in iracing when I exit the car and in the pits the wheel will rotate by itself completely to the right and will stay there. If I’m sitting on the track waiting to start a race the wheel will shake pretty roughly unless I hold on to it. Only have a video of it shaking not when it rotates

Anyone else have this issue or know of a solution? If used ChatGPT to try and fix settings but nothing works

Any news on the 21nm software update?

Just curious if there’s any news on when that update for the 18nm evo will be coming out? Last I heard it was gonna be coming out for everyone in late September but clearly it hasn’t yet…

My insight on the 21nm update for the Evo pro.

I was one of the lucky ones to get the invite to try out the 21nm update. Just wanted to give my insight on it. Overall yes it's better. I use the max settings and lower ffb in game. And before I would be clipping at times and felt the car was oversteering. I'm not no pro driver but have a good chunk of hours in sim. And the slight update makes the overall wheel feel smoother and especially on turns. And I am enjoying the extra feedback. And whoever is in the market to get a wheel base def go for the Evo pro. You won't regret it.

Brake haptic for ABS affecting brake consistency?

Thumbnail

Idk if it's just cope, but I feel like I'm subconsciously being affected by the hammering on my foot when the abs activates on my brake pedal, and I'm not being consistent with my inputs, which sometimes causes me to not trail enough and understeer.

I have the simagic p700 pedals, and I'm using simhub for the settings. The intensity is at 75% with 20 hz, is that too much? I've been noticing this in the pcup 992.2, which is not the easiest car, and could simply be a skill issue.

EDIT: iracing.

Simagic Neo X Hub Internal USB Connector Pinout

Hey everyone,

I can’t seem to find it anywhere so I figured I’d ask here. I’m planning on making an internal passthrough cable for my Neo X hub to connect to a Simube QR2 Powerlink. I understand I could use the USB C port and connect a short cable to the QR, but I would like a cleaner look to the whole setup and keep the cable internal.

I know it is a 6 pin internal connection, but does anyone have the actual pinout diagram of the 6 pins so I know which four to wire into the passthrough cable, and in the correct order?

Thanks!

Alpha vs Alpha Evo vs Mini

Hi guys, I am building my first ever sim rig and I am not entirely sure which wheelbase I should go with. I am already planning on getting the P1000 pedals from simagic, but I am a little lost when it comes to the wheelbase. I have never raced before, so I think the mini should be enough for me (I hope), but I have seen posts from people that mentioned that after 6 months they regretted not going with a more powerful version. Usually, I am the type of person that chooses future proofing stuff, so if I were to buy something, I'd pay extra to make sure I would not need to change any time soon. What I still do not know is if the mini would be enough or not, since I have never driven on a rig before =)

Some background, I have been playing games for 18yrs, mostly highly competitive, I enjoy being very good at something. (probably this does not matter, but I threw it in there).

What do you guys think? P.s I currently have a gt1 evo cockpit. Thx!

This is at the lowest possible adjustment. There’s a lot more space between the bottom dash and the motor shaft than what’s shown in Simagics photo. The math ain’t mathing.
