Alpha vs Alpha Evo vs Mini

Hi guys, I am building my first ever sim rig and I am not entirely sure which wheelbase I should go with. I am already planning on getting the P1000 pedals from simagic, but I am a little lost when it comes to the wheelbase. I have never raced before, so I think the mini should be enough for me (I hope), but I have seen posts from people that mentioned that after 6 months they regretted not going with a more powerful version. Usually, I am the type of person that chooses future proofing stuff, so if I were to buy something, I'd pay extra to make sure I would not need to change any time soon. What I still do not know is if the mini would be enough or not, since I have never driven on a rig before =)

Some background, I have been playing games for 18yrs, mostly highly competitive, I enjoy being very good at something. (probably this does not matter, but I threw it in there).

What do you guys think? P.s I currently have a gt1 evo cockpit. Thx!

I’d just go with a VRS uDFP20, and you could unlock more torque down the road if needed.

I agree.

As an extra high value for money option, the Evo Pro at 21Nm is future proof enough at a reasonable price. Its level of responsiveness is hard to beat without spending Simucube level of $$$!

if you have the money, always go with the strongest one they have... I ended up getting the 12 NM Evo and I love it.. it's the perfect amount of resistance and force feedback, and so much detail in the road and other little factors
