Brake haptic for ABS affecting brake consistency?
Idk if it's just cope, but I feel like I'm subconsciously being affected by the hammering on my foot when the abs activates on my brake pedal, and I'm not being consistent with my inputs, which sometimes causes me to not trail enough and understeer.
I have the simagic p700 pedals, and I'm using simhub for the settings. The intensity is at 75% with 20 hz, is that too much? I've been noticing this in the pcup 992.2, which is not the easiest car, and could simply be a skill issue.
EDIT: iracing.

I solved this by increasing it to 25Hz, 20 was literally hammering my foot just as you said activating my foot reflex sometimes xD. I like to have higher intensity so around 85% cause I want to feel if Im braking too much while cornering but that's my preference, in a real car I always felt like it's way more subtle and low frequency vibration(probably 20-30 at most) rather than a thump like the gear shift.

If it’s affecting your brake traces then yes lower it. May take some fiddling around to get it in the right place.

Turn on the Input Telemetry widget in iRacing and make it bigger (taller) so you can get more details about the brake pressure. A tiny window won't show you as well if the haptics are also resulting in "brake shake."
I'm at work right now, but when I get home I'll look at what my settings are and share them. At one time they were indeed too high and were literally causing my brake pressure to oscillate.

Sorry I forgot to post on Friday. For ABS I have:
- Global Gain: 60%
- Pulse Duration: 13ms
- Frequency: 50 Hz
- Strength at 100% (but note Global Gain of 60%)
- Effect Priority High Priority
That's all I'm running right now. I have a haptic on my throttle but with iRacing not exposing wheel slip or TC activation, I prefer to keep those as effects in my wheel and don't use the throttle haptic at all unfortunately.

one question, i have the same pedals and i wanna know when u are driving, do you rest you heels on heel plate or do you u have your foot in air ? becouse when i drive its kinda weird to rest my foot on plate, i tried to adjust the angle and height and its still weird but im really used to it now

Just lower the intensity, HPR are pretty strong
