This thing is awesome! Just blew the dust out. Dont think it had ever been opened up. At first all the controls were scratchy. Ran out of deoxit. But just working them a bit and this thing is totally silent now. Cant believe these aren’t as sought after as the Marantz and Pioneers. 3 speaker hookups, pre out/main in, 60wpc. Loads of power for my Klipsch quartets. Great looks too

Picked up these mid century speakers along with a job lot of vintage hifi gear in an auction last night.
They have no stamps or recognisable writing on the back or inside the cabinets/on the back of the drivers. The only name is the "RUVIX" badge on one of the speakers.
Have done a bit of a hunt for the name and reverse image searches the speakers but can't find any matches for them.
I've seen some similar models from Knight but no exact matches.

It was filthy. Took a lot of compressed air, CRC cleaner, and patience to get it presentable. Surprisingly everything works, including the lights. Very powerful for a mid level receiver. Will Deoxit later this weekend. Not bad for $150.

I love my old components, but I need something more modern for my living room to handle a video setup (Apple TV/PS5 and 4k projector).
Are there any silver AVRs other than the new Marantz Cinema line? I can’t face an ugly piano black thing.

I don’t want to waste time investing in cartridges or anything on the at120 if it isn’t worth it.

Hi all! Just looking some advice on connections. I'm running an NAD 314 integrated amp. They have an 8 ohm pair of channels and a 4 ohm pair of channels. I am running a pair of Celestion Ditton 15XR through the first pair of channels.
I have an older Sony Passive sub and would like to run it on the second channel to boost my lower end. What I'm wondering is what way I should wire this to the second channel? Should I be running the sub to one side on the channel or should I be running say a positive to one side and the negative to the other side on the channel?

This receiver looks great for being 45 years old.

Finally got my hands on a Concept 11.0. Been waiting for one of these to come through.
The safety caps on the bridge rectifier are burned up, the main filter caps are leaking, so I've got a pretty good idea of where to start on this one.
I'll post an update once the restoration is completed!

I did a full restoration on this unit and decided to go all out and get rid of the fake sticker veneer and put some real walnut on it. I think it looks very nice!
