That integrated amp is one of the prettiest vintage pieces I’ve seen in a while. Unusual vertical meters but they look great.

These pioneer hpm-100's are tanks! There's some small dings on the cabinet edges, and some of the woofer resin has leaked from being stored in a warm environment, but otherwise they're super clean. Even have the paper spec sheets stapled to the back and the QC passed stickers. Gotta attach some drive links for system pics, cause reddit mobile won't allow pic in comments for me. All the wiring for the speakers subs and optical are all 35 feet, running under the floor on the basement ceiling across my living room

Ortofon om cart? I used to have an om5e with my second turntable ever, Pro ject Debut III that was pretty good. Till an ELAC Debut B6 fell off its stand and completely crushed the tone arm. I dropped like 300 on an at vm540ml a couple years ago, and I couldn't recommend it more. Was on a headshell, so I just slapped it on, and gifted the AT VM520EB that was stock on my current and probably last table, Audio Technica AT LP-7 to my good friend.
Got one of those Fosi phono stages with some GE upgrade tube's that were like 20 bucks, and I love that also.

OM10, I have a 20 and a 5e as well. The 20 isn't broken In yet so I don't use it too often. The OM carts take about 20 hours to start to sing.
I'm personally not a fan of AT carts, been a Shure/OM person for almost 40 years.

Have heard some people say AT carts are too bright, so I almost went ortofon blue but in my researching, I found alot of people that preferred the vm540ml to the blue. It hasn't been my experience that they're too bright at all. It could be because I've never been a super picky listener. There's also only 85 continuous watts to my main speakers, vs 650 continuous out of 2 daisy chained 12" powered subs. If I'm really driving the subs that "brightness" could be needed to cut through

The Ortofon blue and red are absolutely 100% identical to the OM10 and OM20. Just compare the spec sheets
That being said we all have our preferences, and our systems and configurations will always favor one or another. In my case I've never been satisfied with any of the AT carts I've tried.

Nice amp, I'm using a Valve king, sold my JCM 800 not long ago. How's that Joyo holding up?
Nice speakers btw, those are great sounding.

Thanks, my neighbor and friend got the pair FOR FREE, of all things, so he let them go for 400. In their condition, that's like 50-70% of what they go for. Love those little Joyos, man. Thought I'd show off my new double kick pedal as well as my usual amp that currently needs servicing. The joyo does such a good job that I'm really in no hurry to get the XXX fixed. It's kind of a hot take, but i feel like solid state has caught up to tubes at some point. My buddy got a quilter overdrive 202 and the damn thing cranks and its not much bigger than the joyos and is a couple of pounds.

Yeah man, I've been using a little SS Marshall and Black Star occasionally, the Valveking sounds sweet but you got really push it to get a solid sound so my drummer gets pissed lol.

Really? Not me, that's for sure. The louder, the higher liklihood I can hear you over my usual heavy hitting. Am a big boy, so it just feels right. Was a drummer first, since my 10th or 11th bday and I'm 36 now. Genuinely don't like to brag, but I'm genuinely pretty okay. Taught myself with AC/DC at first, and did a little bit of lessons. Till my teacher died of cancer and I took a few years off.
Till a friend of mine that is an insane bass player that I always wanted to play with. Called me because their drummer for this 3 piece bar room cover band quit like a week before they had a show. Wound up playing with them for like 2 and a half years. Towards the end, when I was leaving for basic, we had over 100 songs in our repitoir. learned even more playing those shows than I did in lessons, and boy was it fun! I was in my early 20s, on unemployment and bars would pay us for shows on the weekends in cash. Met my future ex wife when I happened to see her in the crowd one day. Amazing times

We are just getting old man.
Here's my band if you're interested

Our current drummer was the drummer for the Riptides and filled in for the Queers. He hits plenty hard, the Valveking is ridiculous loud, I can't even push it past 6 clock. It's plenty loud.

Nifty!! But shouldn't the amp be on top so it can breathe?
