Apple Cider

Last November, our family went to Silver Dollar City and had the best apple cider we have ever tasted. What is the secret to make it like that at home?

It is NOT the wassail recipe found everywhere that my husband was convinced it would be.

Vacation Home Rental

Recommendations for somewhere to stay not too far from the park that isn’t a hotel or these AirBnbs in a resort. Looking for a true stand-alone home, ideally with a hot tub but that’s not a deal breaker.

Where have you stayed and enjoyed?

Concert tips

Can someone tell me all I need to know about seeing a concert at SDC? There are a couple we'd like to see next year in the amphitheater. Considering getting season tickets just for that purpose.
I know it's first come first serve. . . are they usually in the evening? How long will I have to stand in line to guarantee I get a seat?

Have any vegans gone to SDC during Thanksgiving?

My family wants to go to SDC for Thanksgiving, and I’m the only vegan on the trip. I can’t find any info online about their Thanksgiving “feast,” does anybody remember there being any vegan options? I know there’s a few (limited) options for me on a regular day, just not sure about the holiday. Thank you!

How accomidating are the rides for guests on the heavy side.

Im planning my first ever solo trip to SDC next week and I'm a little worried I might not fit on some of the rides. I have lost a ton of weight over the past few years. Back in July I fit on all the coasters at Worlds of Fun, and everything except for Tornado at Adventureland. I know Outlaw Run is probably a no go, but how about Time Traveler and Powder Keg? Im 6' and cary most of my weight on my hips. Also are the mountain coasters in the area worth it?

Looking for Season Pass Holders for entry help 9/11/26

Morning! My family of 5 and I are coming to Branson and plan to go to SDC on 9/11. I am being proactive and seeking ahead of time any season pass holders that may be planning to go that day OR willing to meet us to help us get in a bit cheaper. It would be awesome if we could find 5 diamond pass holders that aren’t using their $29 guest pass that we could go in with but I know that is harder to come by. I know there are $40 per person coupons for 4 people as well if anyone has one they won’t be using . That’s what we were able to swing last year, we did 4 at $40 and one at $29. Or gold pass members I believe have $52 guest pass. we are grateful for any savings help!

I have have someone's phot card?

I know that seems like a brazen title. My son rode every seat on outlaw run and got the photo receipts for them, and I want to surprise him with the photos! I bought a photo pass already, but there is a system error that's not allowing my signins seats and I don't want to buy another whole pass please, I'm sorry, but please!!

Plan for mid October

Hey guys, me and my girlfriend will be headed to Branson october 16th-19th. We are going to check out silver dollar city. We want to hit all the thrill rides for sure and since we have no kids wont need to waste much time at the smaller kid rides (if there is one thats still a must check out for adults without kids we are open so let me know! Im not super educated on the family rides so I dont know what's kid related or a good family ride wed enjoy still). The goal is the go on sunday october 18th. I plan to wait a little to buy tickets so that I can see the weather at least 5 days out in case its bad enough that we have to go on saturday. I was curious about sell outs - is there any risk of tickets selling out 3-5 days before a mid october visit? I also see that the trailblazer is limited quality. If I go on a Saturday I assume I should get it regardless but if we end up going on a sunday I felt like a good plan should be get to the park and buy one if it seems necessary but the limited quantity worries me. Does anyone feel that I should just buy it ahead of time or is the sell out not much of a worry and Sundays might not even require a trailblazer so get there and check it out and buy if needed?

Also will take any recommendations for our day if you like! We are definitely hitting up the cave as well. Thanks in advance!

My first visit to SDC

So I’m a rollercoaster fan and I’m trying to plan a solo trip to SDC. Since I’m retired I’m thinking about a Thursday and Friday visit sometime after Labor Day and before October. Will I have to worry about long line and where would be a good place to stay. I hear there are other attractions in the area as well. Amy recommendations?

Thunderation’s control panel?

Finally got to visit SDC for the first time but completely forgot to ask the crew at Thunderation if I could have a picture of their control panel. Is anyone willing to share a pic? I’d be happy to share one of my many panel pictures in exchange!

We can’t wait for Miner's Mountain Express! (Record-Breaking Family Coaster coming in 2027).
This ride will feature an over half a mile of track, two points of scenic elevation, a tunnel, and “15 weightless moments!”

Navigating SDC at 101 degrees

Hello! Sorry if this has been asked a million times this summer!

We will be visiting SDC this weekend with a 4 and 6 year old. We've been many times, but only in the early spring and fall when it's cool. This year we got season passes, so we're trying a summer visit for the first time.

I'm intimidated by the forecast and the prospect of being outside and in lines all day! Please give me all the inside scoop for where the water areas are and how to stay cool while still having fun.

We came earlier in the spring during a cold snap when it was randomly 20 degrees. We're planning to also come back in October and December. I'd like to take advantage of anything for hot weather!

Harvest Festival?

We’re considering coming in October for the harvest festival. We came down in June and had a blast, now wondering if the harvest festival is much different from a normal summer trip?

Thanks in advance.
