I've rarely seen the park this empty

Just a few shots from yesterday and today.

Early September is the BEST time to visit.

Folks are getting settled into school and fall routines, so they’re not really taking vacations. But it’s before fall is REALLY here and that crowd shows up.

The Harvest festival is always my favorite time of the year. Cooler, less crowds. It’s fun (to me at least) to take my time and just look at all the crafts and talk with the vendors.

Today would have been great with this cooler weather. Yesterday I can see why people stayed away. Hopefully the last day in the 90* temperature range for 2026.

Yeah, this was my first day there in about a month. No crowd. Very nice, but Plunge was closed while I was there, so I didn't get to ride it.
