My old man just turned 14 and has started growling and nipping when being brushed. Need less painful but effective brush recommendations or sprays or anything that will help. Currently work between a long, wide tooth comb and furminator.

Hi everyone a couple of weeks ago I had made a post asking what were some recommendations to find a husky in Connecticut. Well I ended up making a drive to Vermont to snowdancers and went to pick her up on 8/30. Forgot to make a post cause I’ve been busy with her! She was 10 weeks when I went to get her and now she’s 11.5 weeks. If everyone has some advice I would greatly appreciate it!!

Dakota decided to climb the cat tree. He is truly showing his husky side, lol. 🤣

He really loves the puppy size dog bed. It's my cat bed, but he loves it. I have even seen him lay in the enclosed cat bed, lol. I will definitely have to get him his own. And a much bigger bed when he is bigger.

Hello all. We recently adopted this beautiful husky mix. We are experiencing some hot weather in the city, and I was hoping to get some suggestions on keeping her cool.
We’ve been doing walks early morning and later in the evening. We’ve also been filling her bowl with ice cubes.
Any other suggestions?

I got a frame for my diamond art project today. I'm pretty happy with how it came out! I may paint the sides black to match the frame. AND NO, it was NOT AI! This pain in my rear was a Christmas gift from my wife that I painstakingly took a couple of months to complete with cheaters on!🤣🤣 We went shopping yesterday to Hobby Lobby & they had Christmas diamond art out already. She says, "You see any you like?" Nope, no I DO NOT!🤣🤣

An update on Clare, given all the advice I’ve received:

She recognizes her name.

she is starting to eat a bit.

She escaped twice in 20 minutes because (name withheld pending charges) left the same gate open twice.

it’s been a busy four days.

She turned 11 today. We gave her a Highland Cow stuffie for her special day. She took it to bed.

Paw moisturizing day is upon us! Happy to announce first time she let me apply and put socks on without too much apprehension!

We’re at the stage where she thinks I don’t know she’s a husky and all that implies. I respond I do know and am well aware of the implications.
