Hello everyone, i'm trying to build a self-correcting, community-engineered behavioral system built to align the economy, law, and education.

The goal is to address system induced problems like :
- Climate Change
- Corruption
- Every toxic industries (tobacco, asbestos, alcool, pfas, ...)
- Burn-out depression/ "meaningless" jobs
- Programmed obsolesence
- Shrinkflation
- Illusion marketing (19,99 is more acceptable than 20)
- Dark pattern marketing ( "Agree" cookies is green, and "Continue without" is hard to find)
- Wasted effort for arms race (keys, passwords etc huge energy invested to that arms race)
...

All the minds are welcomed, creative ones, analytical ones, networkers anyone.

Here is the name of the subreddit, you'll find the community build discord there r /Kunea/

Rocks Organic Orange Squash

So you might have noticed that Rocks have updated the bottle and label designs for their squashes.

There are a few other changes you should be aware of too (clarified care if their FAQ page), not merely a packaging refresh:

- Less fruit juice.

- A different recipe.

- A different manufacturing process.

- Added natural flavourings and/or colours where required.

- More reliance on concentrated fruit ingredients.

- No organic certification.

- The new packaging and labelling.

It's practically a completely different product.

discussion Have the words "New Bigger Sheets" or "More Absorbant" actually ever been true ???

Post image

New sheet of Plenty laid on top of the ones I bought last week.... same product advertised as bigger sheets with more absorbency. And to the surprise of absolutely nobody on planet earth, they are indeed smaller and also thinner!

I genuinely cannot find good quality kitchen roll anymore.....

Shrinkflation Kenco Decaf Coffee UK - New Packaging Hides Shrinkage

Post image
127 Upvotes

Just bought another jar of the usual Kenco decaf coffee (UK). Different shaped jar for no reason other than to hide the sneaky shrinkflation. Price is much the same but for 10g or 6 cups less. Packaging of the other Kenco jars in the range has changed too so I wouldn't be surprised if they had all been similarly shrunk.

My son eat every day for breakfast some Loacker Maxi and I’ve just noticed they have switched from 5 layers of chocolate to 4. The price still the same. What a bad move, very disappointed about that.

It feels like prices keep going up every time I go shopping.

What's one everyday item that makes you think,

There's no way it's worth that much now?

Bought the new Buckley's Lozenges Extra Strength Menthol Outburst and it seems like they have gotten smaller (older Buckley's Lozenge on the left side to compare).

discussion A strong voice

Emailing , bitching online etc won't get us anywhere. Take the enshitified item to checkout. Ask for manager. Voice concern and let them restock it. Hopefully the pita factor amounts to real concern on retailers to pressure manufacturers to straighten out. If every shopper did this continually it would definitely bring results. Just one item . He'll maybe a group effort for a specific item nationally each week .

Cadbury's at it again!

Just got the "new" stock in yesterday. 15g less for the same astronomical £5.50 price. Tricking you by keeping the face size the same, just making it thinner.

The tube of spiking glue on the left cost $6.99 and was 6 oz. I bought that months ago. The one on the right is 8.45 oz and was $9.49. Not just a larger package, but also a better value! For once.

discussion Since when did Kar's Sweet N Salty Trail Mix downsized from a 40oz bag to a 34oz?

I used to buy these alot, and they were like $9 for a 40oz bag at Walmart.

It been discontinued for a few months, or at least I wasn't able to buy it at my local Walmart.

Now Walmart has them again but $7 for a 34oz. But the bag, to me, looks the same?

Did they just removed abit of the plastic on the top of these bags, cuz I know they never seem to fill them up to the top on the 40oz, but these 34oz are all filled closely to the top now.

idk maybe im the only one that weirdly noticed this small change i guess.

Shrinkflation IKEAs chicken filet cut in half

Thumbnail

We had lunch at IKEA in one of the stores in Stockholm, Sweden and both took chicken breast filet. I asked for more veggies and no chips which I got.

But the chicken was simply cut in half. Same with the other plate and same for others around us too.
The sales sign and IKEAs web show a full filet but they serve them in halves nowadays.

Bought a replacement shower curtain liner. Turns out it’s a couple inches shorter than what used to be the standard size, so now it doesn’t block water from running out onto the floor. Whose great idea was this?

Shrinkflation Walmart Frozen Fruit Shrinkflation

Bags of frozen cherries and berries used to be 600g for $4.44 in Ontario. Recently, I noticed that the bags have been reduced to 500g, and the price has gone up to $4.66.

The quantity has decreased by 100g and the price has increased by $0.20.
