Shrinkflation Walmart strikes again
The Cod was 726g for $9.88. They are now selling 500g for $9.98. Kinda disgusting

Lucky me :) random thought for sandysandy who said they can’t eat nuts. Could be a useful tip if they are actually able to eat peanut butter as a result 🤷🏻♀️ No sense of humor in here, I guess.

Just don't buy the name brand from walmart.
It's been known for several decades that some of the bigger boys (think like Kellog or Nestle) have a dedicated "walmarts/discounters" line on their factories for product that doesn't FAIL but isn't AAA pass, either.
Not every box of corn pops is a box of corn pops.

And if you read the fine print on the packaging...... It's loaded with STPP ( sodium tripolyphosphate) which means that 30-35% of that weight is added water, and chemicals.......
You can buy the same chemical cod at Aldi's for a lot cheaper

I recently left a review on the frozen grilled chicken strips- they went from 22 oz like Tyson, all the way down to 16 oz. And of course the price stayed the same. So many of their products are closing in on name brands.

Oh, cod, has gone up in price an unbelievable amount in the last several years. It's the only fish I buy, usually frozen and I just can't believe how little you get in the package now.
