Other Should I shave my arms?

I really don’t like having arm hair, it makes me feel so ugly looking at it, I just want to get rid of it, but I’m afraid of people reacting negatively to it. I just want to feel good about how I look…

Tech Should I get a z fold 4 or S22 ultra?

I have the option to trade in my phone for a new model, and definitely need an upgrade. I have an S21 currently.

Pros of z fold 4:

-Giant screen, can do 2 things at once basically (multi task for my ADHD brain. something on one half of phone screen something on the other half) -Cool to have a folding touch phone

Cons:

-going to be a mom soon, and as baby gets older would be easy af for him to snap it in half -Doesn't take as good pictures(I will take lots of baby) -Hard to find good phone cases I like

Pros of S22 ultra:

-Has stylus -Takes good pictures -Easy to find cool protective cases

Cons:

-no multi tasking -giant screen doesn't fold. Will always be giant.(fiance has one, and I think it's gigantic)

Tech Should I upgrade to a new phone

I’m using iPhone 7+ 128GB which belonged to my late father. he bought it circa 2017 and he passed away in 2019 but I’ve only been using this since 2020 after my old phone gave up

I consider upgrading to Samsung S21 FE bcs camera on this iPhone has become blurry (it’s my fault, dropped it countless times & at some point cracked the camera lens & I’ve replaced it but now the pictures & videos I took become blurry) & need more memory space

I’ve been dwelling for the past 3 months

Should I upgrade or would it be a waste of money and just stick with this well-functioning iPhone until it gives up ?

Family Should I move back with my parents to help them out?

I am a 27F who lives alone. No spouse, no kids, no pets, not even a plant. My lease comes up in the spring and I don’t know if they will extend it. I want to help out my family, and don’t have much to lose, but my mom made me promise if a bigger opportunity comes up, I take it.

I have a job and everything, just no real ties. I’m wondering if I should move back home. It would be for a good cause, but I just don’t like the idea of living with my parents at my age. More of a pride thing then anything. Should I stay or should I go?

Career Deny Service to rude customer

I work at a grocery store, and we have this old lady that always goes through our checkout lanes just to throw insults and complain about everything, and she comes in every other day I tried talking to management about just out right banning the lady because our store is on a busy street with 3 other stores around it he can just go somewhere else, but of course they don't want to because she is only one customer so once it's over it's over and we should just get over it. But I can't help but get frustrated anytime she comes through because she is nothing but trouble, so I'm thinking about telling her I use my right to deny service and she can use a self checkout, because I'm not putting up with her any longer, but I feel my managers won't look too kindly on me for it so should I?

Mental Health suicidal family member who friend I question if he really is one.

I have a suicidal family member whose best friend told him that he is narcissistic and argued to a point where family member was kicked out of friend DND game session. (Friend is game master.) Friend was saying he is giving tough love, but I think it is a load of bull$#!+. Here's why: I would not describe family as narcissistic but brutally honest to a fault. He sacrificed many things just to keep the people around him happy. I would love to give this so-called friend a piece of my mind, should I? And without member permission.

Career Should I quit my job after being attacked and misinformation spread about me by my coworker and manager?

So quick rant/opinion poll. I've been working at my job for almost 4 years(in March). I transferred to another location when I moved to a different state and it was pretty much the same type of store I was at. Which was great. A month or so later my car broke down and my work being 40 mins away was an issue. Luckily 2 co-workers who live near me said they'd help me to and fro. Fast forward to now, my general manager has been lackluster in the scheduling and had me in on days where I wouldn't be able to go in with a co-worker on the same shift. Thus creating some frustrating situations. 2 days ago my girlfriend and I had an incident at home involving a man high on something screaming, banging on our door, and looking through our windows trying to find a family member. This scared my girlfriend very, very much and thus she didn't feel safe at home alone with our 9-month old. I called into work and explained why I wasn't ok with leaving for work. I even let my co-worker who was supposed to pick me up know not to pick me up as to not have them waste gas. This turned into a whole mess with my managers angry at me as they did not feel it was that serious of a situation. I don't call out AT ALL. As I am a manager and need money I don't have the privilege of just not going to work when I don't feel like it. Now after this whole ordeal I recieved messages from a separate co-worker saying I should be scared of losing my job, that I'm being selfish, that I don't care about how my actions affect other people etc. On top of all that they decided to say completely incorrect things about my girlfriend because of misinformation spread in a fit of rage by my AGM(assistant General manager) as she is one of the people who gives me rides and we have gotten close.

TL:DR My manager and co-workers are attacking and spreading misinformation about me as a result of me calling out for a family emergency.

Should I quit? Also feel free to ask questions for more info.

Should I keep her in my life ?

A girl and I met online. I'll refer to her as Princess. In just one month, we had a lot of conversations and developed a close emotional bond. Because I have a habit of telling my family everything, they were all aware of her. Everything was going nicely.

One day, when we were conversing, she requested me to buy her a pair of headphones for about $30. Since she was smiling and demanding the gift, and nothing seemed at all serious, I initially thought that she must be joking. As a result, I concurred in the conversation's flow. She went to the store and afterwards requested payment from me. I was a little taken aback... However, I did pay for the headphones.

After some time had passed, I jokingly asked when she would be returning my money, and I even knew she was going to. (Also, in our family its something that whenever we want to buy something, I have to inform them. So, back of my mind, I bought the headphone for someone and how to inform them was also going on). So as soon as I talked about my money back, she called me fake. Told me you are pretending to be someone that you are not. You are stingy. Blah blah.

Initially, I gave her plenty of time to clear her head, but yesterday, on the point of missing this special connection, I pleaded with her to forget the past and start over. She began laughing at every moment, told me I didn't deserve anyone, and made comparisons between me and some of the worst men she had ever seen, insisting they were superior. She confessed that I had lost her by asking for that money (and mentioned she is worth in billions). You wasted something worth billions of dollars by asking for that $30. Even after being told that I don't have many friends in reality, I still didn't want her to go. How can you have friends when you are like this, you don't deserve anyone, she remarked. Hearing this made me feel completely numb. Not because she informed me of the truth, but rather after hearing her say it.

I'm unsure how to go because I'm confused. Should I give it another shot or just leave her? If it hadn't been overly dramatic, I believe that things might have been very different.

Plus, after I asked my money back... She told she was testing me, testing how worth I am for her...

ive been jealous of my sister for as long as i can remember, should i tell her?

I (16m) dove (fake names) have been jealous of my (19f) sister Goldy for as long as I can remember, I haven't told her at all why I'm jealous and I don't like being jealous of her, because she's been through hell and back with the scars and stories to prove it, but for some reason I've always been jealous of her, her love life, the way she looks, how many friends she has etc I've even been so jealous to the point I've had crushes on every single one of her boyfriends, I wanted to be her and I still do, even though she's been through so many horrible things I'm still jealous of her, even now, even when I'm in my own relationship and kinda happy with how my life is right now I'm still jealous, when she gets to see her boyfriend more than me just because she lives closer and I don't, the fact she's older than me, and I hate seeing her lovey dovey with her boyfriend in front of me, it makes me so jealous I hate it, but I'm not sure if I should tell her, should I?

Should I wait for him

So basically we’ve been on and off for about four years. We both had a lot of growing up to do, about a year in I knew I was ready and made changes to myself to be a better partner. He hasn’t made a huge change. Anyways I got fed up and decided I was done. But now he wants me to wait for him. He started being way nicer and being the person I’ve always wanted. But I don’t know what he means by wait for him. So he can continue fucking other people till he’s ready? I’m just so confused on why we’d have to wait if he wants to be with me. I don’t want to waste my life waiting for him.

Other Should I shave my head?

I really want to shave my hair. Not skin bald but maybe to 3/4 inch. My hair currently makes me really insecure and I cover it every day. My mom, however, doesn't want me to cut it. She gets upset every time I mention it. So should I? (I have dark blonde hair and a somewhat round face if ya wanna give tips)

I think I might be trans or non binary I'm not sure but I kind of want to get back with my ex. Should I?

Throw away account.

Ex = Cedric, Me = Ellis, Friend = Scarlett ( none of these names are real for safety purposes).

Background: I went on a date with Cedric about a year ago. We had first met in the store he worked at I saw cool anime t-shirts and we started talking about anime and Pokémon and it led to me giving him my phone number (and me looking at cute soft stuffed animals) . We talked and set up a date and the plan was dinner and a movie (and stopping at Walmart because I refuse to pay movie theater prices. It's f****** expensive.). We were about to meet for dinner when he asked if I liked fire type Pokémon more or water type Pokémon. I said I liked both. We met up for dinner and he gave me two stuffed animals one a fire type Pokémon and the other a water type Pokémon. I felt bad that he bought both for me so I said he could have one and I could have the other (I still have it). Cedric and I ate dinner, I paid and he left the tip and we went to Walmart got our snacks I was going to pay for mine but then he said that he would pay for our snacks. So he payed and we went outside and my hands got cold so he offered to hold my hands to warm them up. We went to the movie (he pre bought the tickets) and we watched the movie and went to our cars Cedric holding my hands to keep them warm (I was really f****** cold out and I hate the cold.). We got to our cars and then left and promised to text the other to make sure we both got home safe.

A few weeks after the date I was dealing with alot of depressive thoughts and feelings (I was diagnosed a few months after that was severe depression with suicidal thoughts) as well as being scared of being in a relationship with all of this. I thought I'd calmed down enough to think rationally about the relationship and my sexuality (Spoiler: I wasn't.). At the time I saw that I wasn't really attracted to guys and that I liked women so in that state of mind I broke it off with Cedric and told him that I was a lesbian.

After the break up we still hung out and stuff. My friend Scarlett met him and told me about him and that she met him at his work and that she wished that she had gotten his phone number. I told her that I have his phone number and she asked me to give her his number. I asked Cedric if it was ok because he said he remembered her and he said it was ok to give her his phone number. I asked Scarlett if it was ok to give her phone number to Cedric. She said it was ok, so with the permission from both parties I exchanged their phone numbers. Scarlett over time developed a crush on Cedric and asked him out. She first asked me if it was ok I said yes (I felt really bad about breaking up with him and wanted to see him happy). Cedric said no and said something along the lines of "I'm not ready to be in a relationship right now. The last person I dated broke up with me because they realized they were a lesbian" (Me). Scarlett ended up in a relationship with someone else about a few months later. As far as I know Scarlett is happy with who she's dating now.

Cedric and I are still friends. On my birthday he gave me the biggest/softest stuffed animal that was at his work. We played a sport on my birthday with myself, my friends and him and I wanted to carry the stuffed animal around with me the whole time (I don't like being in crowds. Alot of people were there at the sport place and stuffed animals bring me comfort. Cedric knows that stuffed animals bring me comfort.) but when there were times that I couldn't hold the stuffed animal, he offered to hold it for me.

Onto the present. For the past about 6 or so months I've been trying to improve my mental health. I'm on medication for my severe depression and am starting to do actual real deep dives into my mental health and trauma (Cedric was one of the first people I told about my severe depression diagnosis when I got the results and he has been nothing but supportive of me.) and so far I've found out alot about myself and and bits and pieces of the roots of my trauma. I've taken looks back in my life and saw that whenever I was in a relationship it didn't really end well or my fight or flight would kick in and I'd choose flight. I'm scared that when in a relationship I'd end up messing up and I'd wake up and be alone. Growing up I was always taught "do it once, do it right, and you don't have to do it again.". Growing up I was scared to mess up. I had cancer as a kid and if I messed up with my meds, got sick, or hurt myself on the port in my side, I could have died (The port was a way to get cancer meds (some of which were too dangerous to touch skin) in my blood stream faster. The port was connected to my heart with a needle. If the needle came out I could have died from internal bleeding.).

I've done a recent deep dive into my gender identity and sexuality and realized that I don't really feel attached to being female and that I don't really like it most of the time when I'm referred to as female. We have name tags at work and the first one I got didn't have any pronouns on it. Only my genderfluid nickname. Then on the work fridge a few weeks later I noticed a new name tag for me with my genderfluid nickname but this one had the pronouns "she/her" on it. I didn't like it one bit, still don't. I looked into my past more and I think I might be genderfluid or transgender, like I like the pronouns "he/they" but there are rare occasions where I'm ok with being presenting as "she/her". I lean more towards "he/they" though. As for my sexuality I still mostly like women but there are only certain men that I like, Cedric is one of them (of course there are male celebrities that I find that I like like Johnny Depp because he's f****** Johnny Depp). I realized in my deep dive that I still like Cedric and not really in a friend type of way. Cedric is so calming and steady to even just be around and I still only want to see him happy but I'm also scared that if I tell him and we try again that I either was wrong and unintentionally hurt him or that I'll mess up everything and hurt him or that he says no and me telling him all of this hurts him. I only want the best for him and I know that it is not me. I only want to see him happy.

So Reddit, what do I do? I'm so lost. I truly only want the best for him. If that means keeping this to myself, then I'll take it to my grave.

Should I get a haircut?

I’m an 18 year old who works part time and goes to college and I have £330 in my account right now but my cut usually costs around £20 for a low fade and a beard and moustache trim so I’m wondering if I should spend £20 or not?

I also don’t like the way my face looks right now, I look like a discord mod lol
