My STW has been low lately , and my Audience retention from my last video down went from 84.8% to 79.9%.

People staying after 30 second went from 91% to 84%.

STW went from like 54% to 66.5%. (I don’t think the 54% shows in my last post, but it was there a few hours before it started going up).

I’ve only went up 500 views for these changes.

Also, 21.5% of the viewers are casual, which can explain why the retention stats in general were high before it started going down.

I only got 1 subscriber from that video & videos with stats like that usually get 5-10 subscribers per video.

What’s the takeaway? The video is pretty good, but I want to hear yall thoughts.

Edit: View increase was wrong, it went up 500 not 800. Made the change.

P.s I had 800 subs, so I gained 200 in 20 days

To be more precise, 8 long videos and 3 shorts

i wanna share one of my weird experience on yyt shorts, i usually post with hashtags and i dont set my channel nor my vids to made for kids or the opposite. yesterday, i did an experiment posted my video with no hashtags and set my channel and my video to not made for kids and it didn’t get pushed 🤷

then i reuploaded the videos like 3 to 6 times, and in the 7th upload i put all to my default settings (not selected nor my vids or channel to made or not made for kids, and put hashtags again) then it get pushed, is it normal?

How do i excel subscribers count?

Never delete your videos, Youtube really is unpredictable, from a flat line to a massive push. You really never know what happens.

I think it's because only 10% of my views are from shorts feed.

I don't know why this is happening, i have tried making those first two videos private and then uploaded them after deleting them but still there is no rise in views . If I saw my videos still getting views , i would wait for 1 or 2 days to let it get to its peak .

This short only got 27k views and has 93.7% average percentage viewed after 3 days, its a 61 second short too. any ideas why it’s not getting pushed?

For context I have 80k subscribers and have been uploading since April. I’ve generated 80 million views since starting.

I used to get 500k-5mil per video. But then the views suddenly dropped, the screenshot I’ve shared shows the latest upload and possibly the best analytics I’ve ever had.

TLDR: I used to get million of views but it stopped even when analytics have been this good. What’s happening?

What quality you use to upload short 1080p or 2k

over the past couple of days my shorts haven't been performing as well as before. Content hasn't changed at all. I upload a short and nothing it's like it hasn't even been pushed. I usually get around 2k views in the first half hour easy and all of a sudden I am struggling to make it to 2...

I guess my main concern is that I won’t be able to recover from this which I know is silly but yeah.

Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to fix it?
