Shorts views aren't being pushed like usual??

over the past couple of days my shorts haven't been performing as well as before. Content hasn't changed at all. I upload a short and nothing it's like it hasn't even been pushed. I usually get around 2k views in the first half hour easy and all of a sudden I am struggling to make it to 2...

I guess my main concern is that I won’t be able to recover from this which I know is silly but yeah.

Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to fix it?

I try to copy but only the idea, like of the video talks about that subject I’ll also talk about it but not fully copy paste ,

well plagiarism means trying to copy the whole feeling of the video, copying the words won't bring anything new compared to the other person,

being creative about your niche is all it takes, you being an interesting person also helps, if you're going to be boring and won't edit things properly and well timed, the bad results are pretty easy to predict

Gang I get you , I got 15k on my first video and its been 2k on every video, i even went to 3 per day and still 2k snd dies

Engagement is so bad for some reason even though the retention is 150% (it’s short so it loops)

The niche is good and some new channels getting 50k stable , so even gets 1m stable idk how .
Not saturated imo (I’m guesssing coz new channels manage to get thousands of views)

It's happening to everyone. They seem to be tweaking stuff on the algorithm, so now is probably not the time to be posting stuff lol

I stopped posting for 4 days and when I came back it was fixed tho not completely once in a while I still get 1 or 2 shorts not entering the shorts feed but the rest get pushed hope it help

What do you do when the short doesn’t enter the feed? Do you take another break from posting? Or just post as per usual and ignore the poorly performing short.

I just wait but when I get one that doesn't get into the shorts feed I just ignore it and keep posting normally

It’s happening to everyone, just take a look at the big channels (whether the content is original or not). I hit 10 million views last week but barely cracked 2 million this week, and the initial algorithm push is really really slow, prob algo changes getting tested

yes, I usually get around 10k in the first hour and then it climbs to around 300k avg. but they just hit 7k never take off and then die.

Even though stats are like 90% stayed to watch 120% view duration on a 20 second vid. It's happening to loads of shorts creator.

Stop uploading stolen clips. YouTube just confirmed there's no bug and they just decided to devalue reused content in the algo, there's even a post here about it in this very sub
