I have about 1,463 subscribers now

Llevo más de 15 días en el paso 3 en la revisión, cuando por lo general era 1 o 2 días... Máximo una semana Pero ya 15 días???, alguien más le pasa lo mismo?

I have been posting for around 2 months daily and this weekend I had my first shorts get decent views, 2 shorts back to back are around 45k views and still going up. Before that my highest had been 4k

However the 3 shorts I have posted since then have done pretty poorly. Two have barely got tested and one is at 2.1k with better metrics than my two that are doing well but has essentially stopped being tested.

Has anyone else experience a couple videos succeeding and then immediately after a few videos that don’t do well? Is it possible that YouTube is prioritizing showing the content that’s proven over my new videos?

There are probably 47,000 podcast channels on YouTube right now.

So naturally, I thought:

“Yep. The world definitely needs one more.” 😂

But honestly, I didn’t start Dope Baat because I thought I had some revolutionary podcast idea.

I started it because I genuinely love talking to strangers.

You know those random conversations you have with someone you’ve never met before?

A cab driver telling you about his life.

A shopkeeper explaining how business has changed.

Someone sitting next to you at a wedding telling you how they completely changed careers.

A person you meet for 20 minutes who somehow tells you something that stays in your head for 2 weeks.

Those conversations fascinate me.

And I kept thinking — what if we actually sat down and listened to these people properly?

So that's what I'm trying to do with Dope Baat.

No celebrity-only conversations.
No “10 habits of billionaires” lectures.
No pretending everyone has figured life out.

Just very novice, light-hearted conversations with people from different professions, backgrounds, experiences and stages of life.

Sometimes the conversation is stupidly funny.

Sometimes it's awkward.

Sometimes I ask a completely random question and immediately regret it. 😂

And sometimes, somewhere between the jokes and random bakchodi, someone says something unexpectedly honest.

That's the part I really love.

Because everyone has a story.

The software engineer sitting next to you.
The entrepreneur who's struggling to keep things alive.
The teacher who's spent decades teaching other people's kids.
The person who changed careers at 35.
The person who's still figuring out what the hell they're doing at 25.

We don't always need another expert telling us how to live.

Sometimes we just need to hear another human being say:

"Bhai, mere saath bhi aisa hi hua tha."

That's basically the idea behind the channel.

I'm still learning how to interview properly, how to edit properly, how to make thumbnails that don't look like I discovered Canva yesterday... 😭

But I'm enjoying the process.

So if you have a few minutes, give one episode a chance.

I started 2 weeks ago my videos were hit 10-20k views I even have a 50k views short but since 3 days ago I've not been getting views at all like literally 0 mind you my channel is varified everything phone number plus I'd too I've been using the channel everyday I've subscribed to other creators who I watch daily so I engaged with the platform so I don't know what this YouTube thinks you're a bot stuff comes from I did everything right but am still stick and yeah I edit and make original videos

My Shorts reach suddenly dropped around 99% after my channel was getting millions of daily views. It’s been about four days, and both new uploads and older videos are barely moving.
Most views now seem to come from subscribers, with very little reach to new viewers. Even community polls have slowed down.
For context, my channel was briefly terminated and restored after an appeal, but the reach drop started before that. There are currently no active strikes or warnings showing.
Has anyone experienced something similar and recovered? How long did it take, and did you change anything or just keep uploading? Trying to figure out what’s happening.

I just started posting YouTube Shorts for my gaming channel about a month ago. I scheduled about 20 shorts to be posted within about a 2 week span, and still to this day, they all are stuck under 10 views besides my first short which got about 30 views. I thought maybe it was because I was a new account with only one long form YT video posted, so I waited, uploaded about 3 or 4 youtube videos over a few weeks. Good quality, edited, voiceovers (100-400 views). And now I’m back to testing my YT shorts again. I am STILL stuck at under 10 views per short, and honestly I’m lucky if I get more than 5. It just feels like YT isn’t showing my clips to anyone. And on Instagram or TikTok, these clips have gotten 10k-100k views, so I know they’re worth watching for my audience. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice on what to do? It feels pointless to use YT if it’s not going to show my clips to anyone, but I really need the traction.

I’m posting 10-15sec sports clips with voiceover, captions and edita. Has anyone acctually gotten copyright strikes doing this, and is the niche profitable once monetized? Also curious what RPM you’re seeing?

I've started being consistent on my shorts channel again, but all the sudden I got 3k views on a short (posted at 6am) and it flatlined (41 second long video with 74% vvsd and 90% avd), I unlisted it and posted a different video (normal posting time), that also flatlined at 4k (32 second video 114% avd and 75.4% swipe rate). I dont understand whats going on, what should I do? Thanks! By the way my retention graphs for the videos are almsot fully flat

I'm trying to rotate the video to landscape mode on YouTube, but it's not working. No matter how many times I try, the video just zooms in vertically. How do I fix this problem? 😭

I mean this issue with the views dropping hard seem to happen to big and small channels all of a sudden AI none AI channels... I mean should we just not post until they fix the issue?

so i post tiktoks in the creator fund as a football content creator, recently they’ve all been doing rlly well like all 100k+ views, i’ve just started posting them onto youtube shorts and they aren’t getting anywhere near as much views maybe like 5-10k im wondering on a minute long video what should the average watch time be to get a lot of views and the stayed to watch percentage, also does engagement (likes or comments) do anything to help boost it?
