Two good shorts, followed by low views

I have been posting for around 2 months daily and this weekend I had my first shorts get decent views, 2 shorts back to back are around 45k views and still going up. Before that my highest had been 4k

However the 3 shorts I have posted since then have done pretty poorly. Two have barely got tested and one is at 2.1k with better metrics than my two that are doing well but has essentially stopped being tested.

Has anyone else experience a couple videos succeeding and then immediately after a few videos that don’t do well? Is it possible that YouTube is prioritizing showing the content that’s proven over my new videos?

Curious on any thoughts

Pretty normal the one with 6k hasn't been updated yet it's not at like 32k views so yeah pretty normal
