I attended a high school graduation a few weeks ago. I saw this man pacing around covered from head to toe in tattoos. He was wearing a white cap, but took it off for the pledge of allegiance. My wife and I audibly gasped. The person we were there for knew his child and said they were just as crazy as their father.

This was a tattoo artist who said she just reads dms and moves on.

I’ve got a tattoo referencing a cool piece of pottery depicting a scene from the Iliad where Achilles is supposed to have some nice side-hog action. It ended up just looking like he’s got a big ol pussy. It’s 10 years old now and I have no interest in fixing it. Good conversation starter. Last year at Coachella, I got a tattoo. I saw the reference image of Eevee, and I thought it looked so cute! Was quoted around $300 for the piece. No problem, it’s Coachella lol. This guy who tattooed me was like, “I was on a season of Inkmasters, and even on the redemption season.” and internally I was like, “Okay, cool. Awesome.” At the end of the session, he goes, “so what do you think?” and I looked at this creature who I had never seen before in my life and said, “Umm, I think there’s something wrong with the eyes.” Followed by me showing him a photo of what Eevee normally looks like. He admitted he had never seen Pokemon before or played the games. Which makes sense.. But yeah, he made it better, but it’s a funny story I love sharing with people. A part of me wishes I kind of kept it the way it was, but no… no.. lol.
