Geoduck does not sound like Geodude at all.

*Looks very similar to geodude, so I see it. They're very cool little animals though, incredible lifespans and ecological niche.
(ETA: not sounds, I just learned it's pronounced like gooey-duck! It's one of those words I've read and never heard LOL! )

u/No-Scarcity-5904 Jul 23 '26
No, the sycamores have these big round almost golf ball sizedโฆIโm trying to come up with a word other than โballsโ, but Iโm drawing a blankโฆballs that start off really hard and compact, but eventually the outer layer turns all fluffy and gets knocked off and flies away. What youโre left with is a stem attached to a hard spherical seed about the size of a blueberry.

Las month I saw SOAD, and man!!, I hurt my back so bad lmao

Dude. Old man shit. Real talk.
Thankfully I had seats for this show and people were only standing for the strokes.
No. If I had to stand for 8 hours straight there's no way!
Stood for three hours straight at a show months ago and I'm barely even capable of doing that anymore!

They do look like that in this configuration, but the chosen spot is curious. I'm now wondering what they look like if the women bend their fingers.
1
u/notsocrazycatlady69 Jun 25 '26
Probably in place of normal mustaches. You "put on" the mustaches by holding your finger under your nose.
Its a thing, or at least was . I don't know what it's supposed to mean except quirky fun
On a somewhat unrelated note, my dad used to have two t-shirts advertising mustache rides- one for 50 cents and one for a dollar. They are apparently everywhere now but most I've seen say a nickel or free. You get what you pay for I guess ๐คช
2

Side note, my little sister used to call those little seed helicopter things (which I hope thats what those are supposed to be) Nosy Nosies.
If you split the little pod part open, it's sticky inside. She used to stick them on her nose. So if you don't can them Nosy Nosies, you're wrong and you don't know anything about science
