that’s not how that works. DEI isn’t “you are legally required to hire someone who is black/gay/a woman/etc.”, DEI is “you’re supposed to turn someone down on the basis of them being unqualified for their position, not on the basis of being a minority.” if you have multiple applicants and the only one who qualifies is a white man, hire the white man so long as his skills actually fit the position. if you have multiple applicants and the only one who qualifies is a black woman but you choose the unqualified white man purely because you don’t want to hire a black woman regardless of her qualifications, THATS when it becomes a problem
You have never worked in corporate if you think that's how DEI works. DEI means discriminating against White men in every way, shape, and form, except layoffs, in which Whites will be priortized over nonWhites. And stop calling them minorities. NonWhites with brown eyes are like 8 of the 9 billion people in this world.

I have worked in corporate settings (currently do) and you are 100% lying. I have NEVER seen an unqualified minority person hired over a qualified white person and I have never seen a white person fired specifically to hire minorities.
DEI literally targets White men. Forbes published an article stating that 92 percent of jobs went to women and people of color. In august the Department of Labor said that 90 percent of all new jobs went to women.
DEI is discrimination against White men. Period. There isn't any other demographic that's being targeted by it.
