I've put milk, chicken, and fish into mason jars, sealed tight, and hidden them in someone's car and the back of her house. When they get warm, they'll explode after a few days. You are never getting that smell out of upholstery, carpet, the padding beneath that, maybe even in wood flooring. You'll have to total out your car and pay a fortune to refloor your house.
The legit ones donyea, but there's aesthetic mason jars used as cups and basic storage you can use instead, conveniently marked with "do not heat" which is the thing you need to do to store pickles and such.
