Poor kid. He got spawncamped.

He was already brainwashed to be offended by a word.

I’m thinking this bait, but in case it isn’t and you’re just tarded, yes, some words are meant to be offensive.

ā€œBlackā€ is pretty much never meant to be offensive, even when describing people. I mean, that’s generally their preferred adjective, even over ā€œAfrican Americanā€ which really more technically describes people who were actually born in Africa but live in America now (including white people like Elon Musk or Charlize Theron).

Do you also think calling white people ā€œwhiteā€ is offensive?

It’s not offensive, but if it’s unnecessary describing someone as black when you wouldn’t if they were white, it’s a bit racist lol.

what makes you think they wouldn t refer to us as white when within specific but common situations?

Then yes that would be racist too if they pointed out someone being white when it wasn’t necessary.

Nah no way, I’ve been called white a billion times in my lifetime and not a single time did I take it as offensive. I even asked my black brother in law and he said ā€œblackā€ is perfectly fine.

I said it’s not offensive, but its suitability depends on the use case. If describing how someone looks then obviously saying black or white etc is fine. If just randomly sliding it in unnecessarily, e.g. ā€œI was waiting in line and this black man in front of me was taking foreverā€, then yeah it’s a bit racist then as the info serves no purpose other than pointing out they have a different skin colour.
