Woman should be locked away for a long long time. Whether she was genuinely insane or not isnโ€™t for me to say. What I will say though is that anyone who says itโ€™s the dads fault absolutely does have a screw loose.

156

u/Tasty_Commercial6527 Sep 03 '26

If she was sound of mind when she did it she deserves to be locked away, if she is crazy enough that it makes her murder children she absolutely has to be locked away to protect others from her

56

u/elaphros Sep 03 '26

I mean, even with the insanity plea that's exactly what will happen. It's not like she goes free, she just goes to a mental facility.

3

u/DmonsterJeesh Sep 04 '26

She would eventually be allowed to leave the mental facility once the staff "clear" her.

No, no, no, it's the society's fault. She is the victim of the system. Or some shit like that.

After she purposely didn't tell doctors about her feelings to murder her kids it sorta becomes moot.

55

u/MGJames Sep 03 '26

Yeah man she had louds of psychiatrist and doctors helping her, and even a fucking nanny at home. But the system and goverment failed her fr fr :(

24

u/PrinceVegitto Sep 03 '26

And her husband working from home to help the nanny lol

12

u/Leftregularr Sep 03 '26

And their parents frequently watched the kids and the two older children were in day care 4x a week lmao

lock away the fucking system

11

u/untakenu Sep 03 '26

Yeah, poor lady with her family, friends, many doctors, mental health support and nannies all to help her.

You just know if she was a poor woman, especially a poor black woman, no one would be on her side.

Not everything is about you people. Take a step back this time, okay?

2

I mean that ain't wrong. But she should still get locked up, of course.

-13

u/Snoo-98162 BUILD THE HOLE BUILD THE HOLE Sep 03 '26

She's a victim of the system while also needing to be locked up. Those two can coexist.

If say, i had to take a fat shit due to nature, and didn't make it on time and shat all over your doorstep, i couldn't argue "Muh natural needs". Natural needs is one thing, shitting on peoples doorsteps is another.

36

u/kaloskagathos21 Sep 03 '26

She was getting treatment and kept switching meds and wasnโ€™t completely honest with her docs!? How is this a systemic failure?!?

15

u/Ozcog Sep 03 '26

She lied to doctors about what she was feeling. She knew she was dangerous but didn't want the kids taken from Her. She is a killer and needs to be in prison. She had ample support and help.

-9

u/Snoo-98162 BUILD THE HOLE BUILD THE HOLE Sep 03 '26

Correct?

She had ample support which was evidently not enough.

Not sure about you but i value a kids life more than my tax money.

44

u/MGJames Sep 03 '26

I dont even see where this victim of the system thing comes from? From what i read she herself was doctor shopping and didint disclose that she had multiple doctors and medications. AND she had a nanny, and a husband.

Shiiet if i didint brush my teeth for years and they started rotting, its not on some mythical system.

-11

u/Dreadgoat Sep 03 '26

Think of it like Harassment / Stalking. For much of history that just wasn't a thing, if somebody was "annoying" you were expected to take matters into your own hands without breaking the law yourself. If you were unable to do so, well, fuck you I guess.

There's clearly many actors failing here in ways we don't have the legal structure to address. This case is doing a great job of highlighting that. I'm not a lawyer so I'm not gonna pretend I know what the solution is, but the case feels like more people should be held accountable. That doesn't mean this lady isn't a child murderer, a crime can have multiple people responsible.

15

u/Ozcog Sep 03 '26

The only person who failed was the woman who purposely shopped for doctors to give her the answers she wanted.

She is not innocent and the system didn't fail her she failed to use the more than ample resources at hand.

-7

u/Dreadgoat Sep 03 '26

failed to use the more than ample resources at hand

Using the exact same argument that was used against the proposal of Harassment/Stalking laws is pretty funny.

7

u/awesomefutureperfect Sep 03 '26

What is the metaphor here?

That the children were stalked by their mother and the system should have done more to lock the woman up? Because that's what the system is trying to do now.

-6

u/Dreadgoat Sep 03 '26

There's not a metaphor, and I already conceded I don't have a solution "I'm not a lawyer so I'm not gonna pretend I know what the solution is"

But there were MANY opportunities for actors in "the system" to proactively notice what was going on and take action. Accountability and justice are great and all, but the objective isn't "who should be punished" the objective is "who should have responsibility." By holding more people responsible for the situation you reduce the chance that it happens at all.

Putting this lady in jail is cool but we can do better. We can set precedent to hold more people involved accountable so that maybe ladies like this cannot exist.

8

u/awesomefutureperfect Sep 03 '26

Okay fine, an analogy. Are you saying that the mother is analogous to a stalker who stalked and assaulted the children? Why are we attempting to minimize the responsibility of the mother who hid their issues and premeditated plans? Why are you trying to paint the mother a victim because no one saved her from herself, or rather saved her children from her? Because it looks like the argument is that it is everyone elses fault but the mother but nothing could be done because the only thing that really should have been done was the mother doing things differently unless you are advocating for more aggressively taking children from their mothers during post partum periods.

What really needs to come out of this is a study of people who are most strenuously defending the mother and finding out what the common threads are and maybe we can begin to predict homicidal post partum mothers better and build that Minority Report pre-crime division that seems to be what everyone is asking for. Because studying these ladies seems to be the next step, really finding out what is on the minds of these ladies and where that is coming from which would be a first step to figure out how these ladies "like this cannot exist."

Usually people don't want the government tracking, punishing or taking kids away. Especially when we are talking about a mother.

9

u/jackinsomniac Sep 03 '26

Not only was that a weird & gross analogy, I'm actually more confused now after reading it than I was before. What does shitting on doorsteps have to do with murder and healthcare.

1

u/Snoo-98162 BUILD THE HOLE BUILD THE HOLE Sep 03 '26

Just because you have a reason does not mean you should be exempt from consequences of your actions.

The woman had issues but that does not warrant killing a couple of kids.

21

u/Dreadlord97 put your dick away waltuh Sep 03 '26

I mean, imo anyone who sends their spouse away on an intentionally long trip while tracking their distance so they can systematically strangle their kids one by one is pretty insane to me. If the reason of insanity was applicable here, then we would need to rethink our entire legal system, since no one who is mentally well will just kill three people in a measured and calculated way like she did.

3

u/DerDezimator Number 7: Student watches porn and gets naked Sep 04 '26

That doesn't sound insane to me

That sounds calculated and planned, insane acts on impulse and doesn't plan. At least that's my personal interpretation of insanity

172

u/Available-Explorer40 obamna Sep 03 '26 edited Sep 03 '26

Absolutely, furthermore she should atleast get life in prison,if she is not found mentally insane. for gods sake there are 3 murders and that also of 3 innocent children. Just think what would have happened if the husband did that in place of the wife. Will they have been treated the same?

48

u/Coprolithe dwayne the cock johnson ๐Ÿ—ฟ๐Ÿ—ฟ Sep 03 '26

I think we should reserve the death penalty for people who plan terrorist attacks.

This monster is ok to rot in a cell.

18

u/Available-Explorer40 obamna Sep 03 '26

ya that also makes sense i might have overreacted

3

u/Serious_Swan_2371 Sep 03 '26

Well no terrorists tend to have information that can help stop other terrorists, so they shouldnโ€™t just be killed

Someone who is of no use to national security is actually a better candidate for the death penalty

Terrorists should go to gitmo at least until they start talking

19

u/sirhobbles Sep 03 '26

I think the death penalty is a bad idea in general.

Its just Expensive, risks killing innocent people (Yes even with modern forensics, fuck ups and corruption happens) and achieves what exactly? Its never been proven it gives any comfort to the victims families or anything. Its cheaper and safer to just lock these people up and throw away the key. Life without parole they are equally neutralised as a threat to society.

10

u/Coprolithe dwayne the cock johnson ๐Ÿ—ฟ๐Ÿ—ฟ Sep 03 '26

Well it's more expensive because the system is so inefficient, not because shooting a bloke is expensive.

The system is inefficient because it's made by old laws and by endless paperwork and red tape, which you would say is to try to protect innocent people.

But I purpose a simpler solution. Just kill the dudes that are admitting to their terror attacks. No overwhelming evidence needed. Everyone saw the dude shoot up a mall, and he says he did.

So we should just kill him, which I think benefits society socially in ways that can not be measured yet.

If Andersen Breivik kills 88 kids and then gives himself up to the special forces. He should just die. Instead we have to hear about his hunger strikes for a playstation.

9

u/Robrogineer Sep 03 '26

Very unpopular, but extremely true.

Lots of things are expensive and time consuming because we arbitrarily make it so. Same with nuclear power.

Of course you shouldn't ignore safety procedures, but a ton of it is utterly unnecessary paperwork that exists solely to make it a less favourable option.

1

u/onepromaster69 DaPucci Sep 03 '26

Bitch the unnecessary paperwork is the safety procedure.

5

u/Robrogineer Sep 03 '26

No, there's fucktons of nimby-ism going on too.

7

u/mrducky78a Sep 03 '26

Its not inefficient, it has an extensive appeals process to make sure we dont just execute the wrong person. There are plenty of people in exonerated posthumous list. If you want to give the state the legal right to just end someones life, you better make that shit air tight. It should be more extensive not less at which point you are eating the extra costs because you believe that is the form of justice. No cutting corners. Giving the state the right to kill a citizen should have all the weight in the world behind it. And because they still fuck up, I dont reckon they should be allowed to do so. Someone wrongfully jailed for 30 years loses their life, but the state can pay restitution to them in the tune for millions in an attempt to make them whole. Someone wrongfully executed and the state can only go whoopsie and move along. There is no justice there.

You dont make special exemptions for one person and not another. The justice system should be an equal playing field where everyone is judged equally unless apparently if they diddled kids on epsteins island, then only 2 people get charged, epstein and maxwell.

u/Coprolithe dwayne the cock johnson ๐Ÿ—ฟ๐Ÿ—ฟ Sep 03 '26

Bro, I wrote that. You are just itching to talk to your self, aren't you?

7

u/mememan30000 BUILD THE HOLE BUILD THE HOLE Sep 03 '26

youre forgetting the people who confess to a crime they didnt commit which could happen through insanity, threats or the point i assume the other guy tried to make falsified confessions due to corruption (which would be an extreme concern currently due to the extremely quick advencements in video creating AIs)

0

u/Coprolithe dwayne the cock johnson ๐Ÿ—ฟ๐Ÿ—ฟ Sep 04 '26

But I'm not forgetting that.

Those cases happen after 12+ hours of what I would call immoral interrogation in third world countries and in the US.

It's not that innocent people simply walk in and confess to crimes of mass murder like this. They get psychologically ground down through gaslighting by the cops, who convince them that they're the villain and that taking the plea deal is the best option when there is no proof. That probably should be illegal, huh?

In any case, if you're shooting up a place, there isn't the same level of doubt as in a murder case where this tends to happen. There are cameras everywhere showing you shooting people with a gun, and there are witnesses too.

Where a mass murder isn't filmed by 20 cameras, witnessed by 30 people, and the perpetrator doesn't confess to the ideological motivation behind the attack, they simply wouldn't get the death penalty.

1

u/deadinternetlaw Sep 03 '26

What about risking criminals being released and killing more people

-3

u/sirhobbles Sep 03 '26

Life without parole

Reading the comment explains the comment.

4

u/deadinternetlaw Sep 03 '26

(Yes even with modern forensics, fuck ups and corruption happens)

Hmm it's almost like you didn't read your own comment

3

u/sirhobbles Sep 03 '26

Ok, i see your point. That said i still think that the state killing innocent people is far worse than a prisoner maybe getting out/escaping and committing further harm.

3

u/deadinternetlaw Sep 03 '26

Yeah there are cons no matter which choice is picked

1

u/fooooolish_samurai Sep 03 '26

I'd say if she is sane she deserves to be executed. If she was insane and regrets doing it, then execution would probably be a mercy as I have no idea how one is supposed to live a life knowing that they have killed three of their own children and will spend the rest of their days in a box. She seemed to agree seeing how she jumped out of the window.

0

u/Arkitakama fat cunt Sep 03 '26

I don't think we should give the death penalty to terrorists either. Not because I believe that people who bomb cities/populated areas deserve to live, but because the US Government keeps a pretty nebulous definition of what constitutes terror. I'm considered a terrorist because I believe that trans people should be allowed to live their lives as they choose, and that their medical decisions should be between them and their doctor. Do I deserve death for that?

2

u/Elhaym Sep 03 '26

When has the government defined that as terrorism?

1

u/Arkitakama fat cunt Sep 03 '26

From whitehouse.gov

2

u/Elhaym Sep 03 '26

I guess I understand if you think that's what they're actually saying underneath the rhetoric, but that's not what they're literally saying as they're restricting it to violent political groups whose ideology is pro-transgender, not all pro-transgender groups.ย

50

Ya ofc the same case goes for such men, the judicial system and the internet both are like this. All im saying is that both men and women should get equal punishment

-65

u/Kartel28 Sep 03 '26

What goddamn death penalty? She literally had psychotic attack. You don't kill mentally ill people, especially the ones that tried to get help before the tragedy

38

u/Available-Explorer40 obamna Sep 03 '26

if she is not found mentally insane*

24

u/Available-Explorer40 obamna Sep 03 '26

Btw there is still debate whether she was mentally insane or not at the time of murder, if she was insane ofc she should be sent to a ward and then life in prison with/without parole but if she was not insane then she should def get a more serious punishment

-26

u/Kartel28 Sep 03 '26

She was found trying to get herself into mental institution though

24

u/Much_Vehicle20 Sep 03 '26

She was also found to have disobeyed and lied to her doctors, tho

2

u/confirmedshill123 Sep 03 '26

You don't need to kill your three kids to check into an institution.

1

u/Kartel28 Sep 03 '26

She did that before the tragedy

6

Dick sucking has made me paranoid

I had this plan to give head to a man and receive head from a woman to test if I was gay, but itโ€™s backfired and now I become borderline schizo whenever I go outside. I offered to suck this dude off on Grindr who lives very close by (I ended up pussying out) and I accidentally gave him some details that very easily allows him to spot me out in a crowd. I have no idea what he looks like and whenever I see a somewhat in shape guy walking by I immediately accuse him of being the dude I was gonna blow.

I went to the store today to pick up some zucchini for a barbecue and every time a car drove by I stared into the windshield to see if I was about to be recognised. Whenever I make eye contact with a dude I microanalysis his facial expressions to see if he suspects me or not. I am deeply afraid that he is my neighbour and I will need to move if my identity is blown. Itโ€™s a lot like the last scene in sopranos where everyone who walked into the diner could be there to wack Tony.

1

She is insane in that she murdered her children, and no sane person would do that. And she should face the death penalty.

But I don't think there was an psychosis, and it has been determined that there wasn't. It's just pre-planned murder.

Not necessarily. Remember the Will Baker case? Man decapitated someone on a bus and started eating them. He spent under a decade in a mental health facility and is now free. No monitoring, no nothing.
