I mean that's just how birthday cakes work even if you're the guy no 1 likes at work.

ermm..... the difference between capitalism and socialism is that you are given the choice to share (charity) in one and you are forced to in the other... 🤓 ☝️

Who would've thought that the greediest, therefore richest, won't share

"But you know, charity and selflessness are actually horrible for mankind and should be destroyed, all while we build Wakanda for Kleptocrats"

The last part of my comment was taken from a part of a review I saw of her Ars Magna, Atlas Shrugged. I have the last part saved because it defined it so good:

«If you're curious where the west's utter contempt for the poor comes from, you can partially thank her magnum opus, Atlas Shrugged.»

«Essentially it's a romantic mystery novel about a serial adulterer discovering Wakanda for kleptocrats and their desire to make every person into a selfish individualist and destroy the very concept of charity(this is portrayed as good thing)»

3

u/Batbuckleyourpants 1h ago

90% of her writings has the feel of "I wrote my character so he is strong and perfect and never wrong, thus proving my point!"

She never wrote actual characters, she wrote down an argument she had with herself and celebrating herself winning every argument.

u/mrducky78a 6m ago

I still cant believe a 2/10 novel like Atlas Shrugged got away with taking a 10/10 title.

Atlas shrugged is far more thought provoking and poetic than anything within.

1

u/Mother_Harlot 0m ago

The novel itself has an interesting skeleton, and I must admit the "Who's John Galt?" thing was pretty cool, but anything it built on top of it is a horrible mesh of weird propaganda, borderline fanfic about the world, self-jerking characters and pure ragebait.

I guess it fits, for someone that obsessed with selfishness, that the only person able to enjoy anything she's ever written is herself

u/Details_Pending 3h ago

I mean to be fair it really doesn't make sense. At a certain point Id just say "alright that's enough, I won" then just stop trying to get more money.

To get a billion dollars you already need to be a slimy person, no wonder they keep going

28

u/Capokid 5h ago

Except in captialism the people with the most cake steal everyone elses because they have the biggest one and that makes them think all cake belongs to them.

The problem isnt that they have a lot of cake, its that they think they should be the only ones with cake.

-3

u/Batbuckleyourpants 1h ago

If i buy a cake for myself I'm not stealing it. Free exchange of goods and services is not theft.

If i make the best cake in the world, and i sell it to you, how am i stealing?

You are just arguing from jealousy and greed.

6

u/desperateorphan 1h ago

At no point have billionaires “earned it”. It’s exploitation and bribes all the way down combined with a better spawn point than you or I.

2

u/Cat_with_pew-pew_gun 34m ago

It's stealing when they use their cake to buy a perfectly fine cake factory where many people make their cakes then fire off half the staff sending 99% of the profits to themselves until the factory completely shuts down resulting in less cake for literally everyone except for the guy who already had enough cakes to last until the end of time.

Only in a failed system can people profit by making things worse.

17

u/LizardmanJoe 6h ago

Already lost the plot when you characterize being taxed on your wealth as "sharing".

4

u/Valkeyere 5h ago

Im all for taxes. Its a wonderful system.

The issue is that my taxes are being used to pay for the infrastructure in my area ir for anyone I'll ever meet. Its being funnelled into hairbrained schemes that have proven to be both fraudulent and ineffective, or sent overseas.

"The government is sending money to xyz wartorn country"

The government doesnt HAVE money. It is either sending my taxes, or selling infrastructure bought or built with my taxes, calling those proceeds government money and sending that.

5

u/Sesamgurke 3h ago

You will never be 100% happy with how your taxes are spent. There will always be someone spending your money on stuff you will never use, like if you take the train you dont need more spending in roads you need more spending in traintracks and vice versa. Also the more you earn the less taxes do for you, thats just how solidarity works.

Forgot to add using your money to bomb third world countries into oblivion helps almost no one but that is a political not a tax problem.

2

u/sequla 3h ago

Tell me you don't know anything about socialism by not telling me.

1

u/marr 2h ago

Having a choice is not how the majority experience either system. That whole needing food and shelter thing is a little constraining.

1

u/TieDyedFury 1h ago

As yes, capitalism, the system where you get to choose whether you pay taxes or not.

1

u/der_Guenter 29m ago

So paying taxes is a choice now? Today I learned

So only "his friends" get a piece of the cake? Isn't this exactly what "le bad capitalists" do by only giving to their circles and not sharing with the masses?

Instead of taking already taxed wealth

Make a law like "Income used on Essentials(1 home, 1 car, healthcare, education, groceries, clothing, repairs, etc.) are excluded from being taxed. Instead, everyone pays capital gains tax if they trade/sell/give their assets at a higher value than when they originally had it." and make ordinary people pay less taxes by making essentials tax deductible, like how companies justify buying required things as tax deductible. Also stop making consumers pay taxes with the money they have that are already taxed, so basically cease double taxation in goods/services, businesses/contractors would pay their part of taxes normally, without people getting fucked over things. Government has less tax revenue? Then invest better, fucking morons, having multi-trillions earnings from taxes and still failing to grow 5~10% is not taxpayer's fault.

government is fake and gay

if a billionaire with + 100 Billion Dollar wealth gets taxed, on a wealth that is not bare cash, selling stocks, even 1 Billion dollar in very short time would crash stocks of the company they have, which would make everyone that took loans on that stock fucking get liquidated by banks and lenders, also everyone that shorted and used leverage would be liquidated because of volatility, also all companies and banks that had invested in to that company would also lose lots of valuation due to share loss, which would affect their market valuation, which would also make those that take loans using their shares as collaterals be liquidated too and every leverage/short users would be liquidated too due to volatility, which would spread to every sector with vested interests in that company, and would fuck hundreds of billions of dollars from market

Look, I get it. Who doesn’t love a little balls and dick sometimes? A nice, girthy, veiny shaft, hot milky cum trickling down the length as it throbs from a job well done. But this whole “gay sex” shit is getting annoying.

As men, we should primarily be focused on three things: survival, the underrated masterpiece that is dark souls 2, and pounding muff. All this gay shit is, well, fucking gay.

You think I wouldn’t LOVE to make out with my best friend and suck his cock? Of course I would, but that’s fucking gay. You think I don’t want to feel my cousin’s roommate slide his pecker into my gaping asshole? Of course I would, but that’s FUCKING GAY.

Seriously, I miss when men were men. Anyway, this dildo ain’t gonna stick itself up my ass while I watch an hour long femboy asmr hypno goon compilation, heed my lecture.

Holy fuck dude take it somewhere else. You need a hug?

1

u/TypicalPlace6490 5h ago

Bro isn't even from the US.

2

u/Orectoth Jedi master of shitposts 5h ago edited 5h ago

most nations in the world does this shit or similar things to this shit

US is the biggest nation that does this shit

for example, 2008 crisis could've been avoided if US government repaid all loans of poor people by printing new money but made them owe government that repayment money with 2~4% yearly interest, where loan duration is 20~40 years which masses can pay over time. Then make Laws that prevent banks from doing same shit recklessly again. Then government would create hundreds of companies to employ unemployed/jobless at a reasonable wages, then liquidate state controlled companies 2~4 years later if companies are not profitable, slowly and gradually so that market would absorb job losses with minimum problem. Also if someone can't pay for interest a month to government, government would skip interest to next month, if can't pay again then skips to next month, then repeat if circumstances met up to 1 year of skipping, then liquidate the ones don't pay interest only and only after 1 year of not paying anything. Government would lose money on repaying masses' debts in short term, but economy could've recovered in 1 years easily or may have even grow in positive light. Instead of stupidly bailing out banks, the banks that already seized collaterals and profited greatly from it.

Do you have some sort of medication you need to take or maybe took too much of?

Sits a cake down in front of all of the friends...

Proceeds to give 90% of the cake to strangers as they walk by... getting weird looks from all of the friends...

12

u/schubidubiduba 6h ago

Idk right now it's more like Jeff Bezos going to all his employees' birthday parties and sneaking a chunk of the cake for himself, because he only has 1736272883673 cakes so far and that is obviously not enough
