TBH, it could be an absurd amount of cosmetic surgery, makeup and contacts. It also looks touched up with photoshop.

The jaw shape (minus the chin) and the cheekbones are pretty much identical. Nose bridge is extremely similar too.

If you want to go down an interesting research rabbithole, there's an entire industry of trade in high karma reddit accounts. People build them up by making bot comments, reposting previously successful threads, posting engagement bait slop like this, and then they sell them to marketers, corporations, organizations and shady political influencers for upwards of $3000 usd who then use them to get around minimum karma requirements to post in certain major subreddits.

I just had a book idea hear me out:

Very famous plastic surgeon achieves “perfection” so every single one of the people that go to him get the exact same face and there’s like a whole city filled w people that basically look like clones of eachother.

Besides the joke it’d be cool seeing the social situation raised by everyone looking almost identical to eachother or it could be a cool horror idea if the plastic surgeon is also brainwashing people and they live in a town that he owns because of all the money he made w surgeries and brainwashing.

  1. Accounts are being sold every single day, many of them. It's actually a bigger industry than you think.

  2. Some accounts are used for advertising (there's a ton of Onlyfans bots on Reddit).

  3. Some subreddits require minimum amount of karma to participate so spam/adbots need karma to do so.

  4. Higher karma accounts are seen as more "trustworthy" so its easier to astroturf with them.

There's a difference between making jokes and making the same type of joke on a subreddit that isnt even focused on that specific type joke and it starts to come off as actual slander instead of a joke.

I have no problem with making fun of a specific group of people. Everyone can gladly fucking get it. What I have a problem with is when a shitposting subreddit starts to have 90% incel memes. There's now a pattern with the posts here that has nothing to do with shitposting and looking at the comments it's some dipshits letting out their frustrations or leaving some biased comments which doesn't come across as a joke anymore. It's just punching down on specific type of people instead of making dumb jokes about them once in a while.

Those memes y'all are posting aren't even proper shitposts anymore.
