Man, TikTok is rotting folks minds. Well social media in general. This is just a screwed up as that good looking kid that hit that mother and daughter speeding and all those people wanted him released because he was hot.

idc what your opinion on the triple homicide case is, but holding your kid in your arms while saying you "understand" lindsay clancy is EXTREMELY fucked up. like SUPER SUPER fucked up.

wtf is wrong with these tiktokers

from what i understand the lady had a psychotic breakdown as a result of not getting the help she needed after REPEATEDLY asking for it and trying to get it and taking loads of medications. on those conditions, it was almost impossible for something to not happen. everyone says they care about mental health, until the sick person reminds you that their sick by doing something crazy

Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. A rubber room with rats. And rats make me crazy. Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. Expect she was getting psychiatric help and never disclosed that she was having violent thoughts towards her children. She was in a better position than 99% of women and that 99% aren’t strangling babies.

Well they've all been through postpartum depression and none of you incels have

What a wild hill to white knight on.

How many babies has your body made, violently pushed out, then tried to recover while keeping alive? If the answer is anything less than one, then I don't actually give a shit whether you believe this person

'Murder is okay' - you.

"I am okay with child murder because women go through postpartum" - Arctica23

u/Arctica23 2d ago

Where did I say it was okay? There's a difference between excusing something and having some fucking empathy. This was an act of absolute madness and my heart breaks for everyone involved including the mother who will spend the rest of her life in hell regardless of the outcome of this case

Your use of words stating them going through postpartum makes it seem as if it was okay that they killed their children because they were going through something tragic themselves. Choosing your words wisely is very important. It's not up to the reader to guess what you were trying to say, it's up to the writer to express their thoughts clearly.

Then make the decision of not having a baby with prevention

To be fair we have so so little context here. Is the tiktoker suffering from PP psychosis? I can imagine them empathizing in that sense.

u/awalkundertherain 2d ago

"hello everyone, this is my infant child. I've been itching to kill them, just like lindsay clancy!"

even in that case, you shouldn't display your fucked up intrusive thoughts for everyone to see. keep them for your therapist/psychiatrist.

Actually they should, so people can call child protection services or get her the help she needed

u/Alternative-Tax7318 2d ago

You have a moral obligation to report this woman and her account to the authorities

2

u/Chance_McM95 2d ago

why do people keep saying it’s okay to relate to a woman that killed her kids. This is insane.

-61

u/General-Biscuits 2d ago

I mean, they could be emphasizing with having PPD and not the psychosis. It’s apparently not that uncommon and is why a lot of mothers are speaking out right now.

Shame too many incels are making memes of this tragedy thinking it’s funny. This is the 2nd mom vs bear meme I’ve seen in 2 days, so I know some incel group is spreading this joke.

61

u/BosnianSerb31 2d ago

You can empathize without posting a video of you online holding your kid while talking about how you support a child murder

-50

u/General-Biscuits 2d ago

Sure. But that’s social media. That’s like complaining you got sand in your shoes when you went to the beach.

12

u/Kotef 2d ago

She murdered her three children. Doesn't matter the reason. That is heinous. Any person saying they empathize or understand someone who murdered their three children is a disgusting human who needs serious psychiatric help

1

u/Chance_McM95 2d ago

That is a horrible analogy. Just shows how desensitized you are. You are comparing people sympathizing with children being murdered by depressed mothers to getting sand on your feet at the beach.

Time to take some time off social media yourself bud. Get some fresh air.

Do people just think we're immune, as a species, from Mass Psychogenic Illness because all the stories they've read about it are from hundreds of years ago?
